Well worth the money Product does cool when it is working, I added a portable 12 volt battery in order to have the cooler free to move in the cockpit where I want it and keep it from draining the amps on my Saratoga, keeps the cockpit at a reasonable temp on a hot 100 degree day, My Wife won't fly without it in the summer. The biggest complaint is that the hose connections that are under the metal grill do not have clamps to keep them in place. Over time and use, I fly about 30 to 40 hours in the summer, the connection will come loose and the water will spray into the fans and ruin them. I'm on my second cooler and forgot to open it up and put a clamp on the hoses and yes it has happened a second time in the 3 years I have used the unit. Durability and reliability a big zero because the unit needs clamps for the hoses and when they fail the water will spray the fans and ruin them. If you purchase or have purchased this unit open it up and put clamps on the hoses. The power cord is not long enough to set the AC in the baggage compartment.

Tubing is removable and adjustable. Tubing could use a tighter fit as turbulence or a hard landing bumps the setting. A little on the noisy side due to fans being so powerful, but noise is just the airflow not the fans.
