But I didn't expect them to warp so badly and so quickly. I have 4 windows in my living room that get direct sunlight for most of the day (hence the reason for blinds). 2 of the windows I had previously applied a sun deflecting film on to help keep out the sun. The blinds that are in the windows with the film are fine, no warping. The other 2 are so badly warped that I will need to replace them. If you have a window that doesn't get sunlight, these will probably work fine. The color is great, but there is no wood grain embossed or printed on the blinds. Yes () No (1)  Report Yes () No (1) I BOUGHT ONE FOR MY DAUGHTERS ROOMS AND LOVED THE BLIND AND THE LOOK. SO I DECIDED TO TO BUY THEM FOR THE REST OF THE HOUSE. WELL THE NEXT ONE I PURCHASED WAS FOR MY KITCHEN. WHICH IS ON THE SIDE THAT RECEIVES THE MOST SUN. WITHIN A FEW DAYS I NOTICED SOME SLIGHT BOWING IN THE BLIND. NOW AFTER BEING UP SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS SUMMER THE ENTIRE TOP HALF IS WARPED. THE ONE IN MY DAUGHTERS ROOM WHICH DOESN'T RECEIVE THAT MUCH DIRECT SUNLIGHT STILL LOOKS GREAT.

I SPENT $30 ON EACH OF THESE BLINDS AND I WISH I WOULD OF BOUGHT REALLY WOOD. OR AT LEAST SOMETHING THAT WASN'T MADE OUT OF PVC. IF YOUR HOME DOESN'T GET THAT MUCH SUN THEN THESE BLINDS WOULD BE PERFECT. HOWEVER IS YOU GET A LOT OF SUN ESPECIALLY ON ONE SIDE I WOULD GET SOMETHING ELSE. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT. I HATE PAYING FOR SOMETHING AND NOT GETTING THE DESIRED RESULTS. Yes () No (2)  Report Yes () No (2) We've only had these up for 4 days and they are already bowed in pretty badly. We've only had 2, 60+ degree days and they didn't hold up. We put them in the baby's room to darken it.... Which, they are just a tad shorter than advertised, but it makes quite a difference when they are actually hung. Larger than expected gaps on the sides still let in plenty of light. Not to mention, they don't really close up/down fully and the cords running through them have big holes....... Soooooo, room darkening they are definitely not. Maybe they would work in a window that doesn't get ANY light.

But, I got 6 and have to figure out what I need to do to replace them. I hate to replace them all just because.. They shouldnt have did this.300.00 for 6 windows is not cheap. I read about them warping and fading but they've held up well so far. Just ordered 19 more for the rest of the house. I absolutely love the look of the dark espresso blinds. Yes (2) No (1)  Report Yes (2) No (1) I absolutely loved the Better Homes and Gardens Faux Wood Blinds. I ordered them online and they arrived packaged as if I purchased them from a store. I just wish I could get this same brand in a Wider size. I would have them throughout my home. Due to not being able to get a 59" Wide blind, I had to order the brand, Richfield. I was happy with the color but the blind arrived at my home with the shipping not in very good shape. The blind looked as if it had been returned by a previous customer and just put inside the packaging box. No where on box did the name Richfiled appear. If I would have had to return it to the store, I'm afraid I may have had a problem. The blind was in good shape and there was so visible damage, but I felt like it probably bounced around loosely before it reached me.
