I tried an outside mount first because I have fairly shallow window frames, and it looked fine that way, but then I changed them to inside mount and it actually looks a lot better even though the instructions say you need a depth of at least 3 inches. My window depth is only about 1 and 3/4 inch so I was worried about them sticking out too far but it looks fine and they seem sturdy. These are a fantastic price and look waaaaaay nicer than the builder-grade mini blinds I used to have.

They also keep out more light than the mini blinds did so I can sleep better now. They are exactly what I was looking for. -Seem rather sturdy overall. I have returned it (which is always easy with Walmart) and ordered another replacement.

As it was a 71" blind, I can see it being rather easy for it be damaged in shipping. I had remotely high expectations going in, and these still managed to surpass them. I am very impressed with these blinds for the price. I will need a few more to finish the master bedroom/bathroom windows, and this brand is what I will be coming back for. I have seen nothing that compares to these in quality within the same price range. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for nice blind for their house. Yes () No (5)  Report Yes () No (5) These blinds are great for the price! Moved in to a house with vertical blinds, and I've slowly changed them all out for these that look so much nicer! Love the faux wood detail. One set I got had a little less faux wood detail, but all the others look great. The ONLY negative thing I would mention would be that the blinds are about a half an inch shorter than the description of them say. Once I figured this out and returned the first wrong sized set, I was able to remember to measure for half an inch less wide than stated.

Overall I would highly recommend these blinds! Also, I got them 6 days earlier than Walmart had told me delivery date would be. They look every bit the high end blinds that cost an arm and a leg. They went up easily and fit perfectly. There was only one small drawback ...when we took them out of the box and installed them, once we lowered them to fit the window they let off this smell that smelled just like a natural gas leak. The odor left after opening the window for about 15 minutes. So if you get these blinds don't get upset if you get hit with this odor. We figured out it had to be coming from the pvc material that they are made of. They probably packed them immediately after coming off the assembly line, and the odor got trapped in the box. The odor left quickly and the blinds look beautiful. Do not be afraid to buy these blinds ...Worth every penny and then some.

Yes () No (8)  Report Yes () No (8) I currently have the typical low-quality cream blinds all over my house that make rooms look dark and yellow even on the brightest day. I was pricing out blinds at one of the warehouse type stores and everything I liked was SO expensive. I found these and decided to give them a shot in a bedroom with only one window - they were the right price! The room looks like it's had a facelift and is SO bright now! I've purchased 3 more and have already installed one in my living room. 2 more installations to go there! I'm a short-cutting non-measurer. No matter how little effort I put into installing these, I can't screw up. I did break down and create the stater holes with the drill because creating them manually with the screw and screwdriver was making me winded, but that's just because I have little interest in labor - not matter how little effort it takes. I plan to buy a few more of these blinds as I tackle revamping the other two bedrooms in the near future!

What an inexpensive way to refresh a room! I can't stop looking at them!!! Yes () No (9)  Report Yes () No (9) This shade was purchased for a bathroom remodel. I chose it because the slats are wide and because of the faux wood grain. It more than surpassed my expectations. It arrived well wrapped. It had easy instructions for a quick installation. The instructions gave an easy method for changing the length of the blind and removal of unwanted extra slats. I am very impressed with this product and would recommend it to everyone and would buy it again. Yes () No (4)  Report Yes () No (4) I bought these blinds for my son's room during a remodel, they really looked nice so I decided to do all my windows in my whole house. It looks really nice inside and out. They do darken the room quite a bit,which is very helpful since I work nights. I also custom cut all of them to fit the length of each window which makes all the difference in the world, looks like a professional hung them.

All in all I'm very satisfied and would definitely buy again. Only down side was I had to wait a week for a few of them due to the store not having them in stock. They let way too much light in to be much use in any of our (very bright) bedrooms. We will be returning all of those and buying something else. That said, they seem pretty sturdy, so they seem like they will be nice for anywhere that light is not an issue. Yes (7) No (2)  Report Yes (7) No (2) Well before buying these I read a lot of the reviews. One in particular I ignored and shouldn't have. If I hadn't searched for months for replacements for my old mini blinds, I may have returned these and spent a little more money for a little better blind. These blinds look okay enough no issue there, but they are paper thin, looks like dry wall material painted white or just simply cardboard painted white.

They break very easily, don't feel like they will last very long. The price was good, but for a better material I would rather spend a little more. They were very easy to install which was a nice surprise, I did alter the length to fit and that also was quite easy. Being the poor material I am saving the slats removed so if any break I can replace them. I honestly have 2 more windows to do, not sure if I will order these for them. Not the worst blind, but not the greatest either, But they do look okay. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () We love these blinds and have them on every window of our rental homes. They look wonderful and high end, especially for the price, and they have held up really well. My husband finds them really easy to install.....a drill is very helpful. They save our renters having to hang window treatments if they don't want to and save our windows a lot of nail holes from curtain rods. They have held up well in kitchen and bathrooms as well and are really easy to dust.
