I decided to "Do it yourself" never having installed blinds before. I took the measurements and ordered online. I soon canceled the order realizing I ordered to exact measurement of the window. I forgot I was told to subtract half an inch for for spacing. So, I remeasured and while ordering (again) I saw something I dint see before. It "All blinds are cut half an inch smaller than ordered size." So now I'm confused.

I ordered as originally measured and they were already cut down half inch in size. It fit perfectly EASY to install and it looks great. Most are made of Styrofoam but these are some type of plastic maybe even wood chips. They make the room look so elegent, the blinds are so nice I would consider not even covering them with curtains. My cat tears the cheaper plastic blinds up and down, she will never be able to tear these up. LOL I will be buying more to complete the whole house. The wood grain doesn't look as fake as Canopy 2. The header attaches with better clips that are not visible 3. Comes in 1/2 inch width increments, so it fits my window better

Eventhough it's a .5 inch narrower, our window is adequately covered and blind wont fall of the bracket. Color is bright white, has wood grain design, not real wood though. We were very pleased with these. In the fine print they said actual blind is 1/2 smaller then size listed. This worked well for us. The blinds look more expensive then they were. They have held up well. They can be easily wiped off. They are a nice upgrade from a vinyl blind. They are 2" wide so they wouldn't work well for a shallow window frame. They are perfect for our needs but be sure to read the fine print if sizing is an issue. Came on to order more.
