Meyer, in the early 1980s to take over the Inmar Corporation. Inmar's retail outlets were transformed into ACA JOE stores and the company name was changed to ACA JOE INTERNATIONAL.

In the mid-1980s, there were more than 100 ACA JOE stores around the U.S., and the company's stock was the fastest rising stock on Nasdaq in 1985. The company's stock was deleted from the Nasdaq over-the-counter trading system on April 1, 1988 because of the company's failure to meet Nasdaq's capital and surplus requirements. I've bought 3 and not all fit the same. As other's have already stated the sleeve length on these shirts is way to long. I am 6'6", and the sleeves go down well past my elbows.

Embroidery, ribbons and applique are used to enhance the lines of floor-length gowns and skirts, blouses and street dresses. Josefa dresses cost $200, Opus 1 skirts and blouses $50-$70. The store also has a wonderful selection of accessories--belts, shawls and jewelry. Hot Colors, AppliqueCompetition comes from Girasol (Genova 39A), another boutique with dresses, slacks and sweaters based on traditional garb. Designer Gonzalo Bauer uses hot colors and a lot of applique.

Flamma (Hamburgo 75) is a wonderful candle shop. Stepping through the door is like walking into a bouquet. Colors and scents embrace you. There are traditional tapers and inventive sculptural animals, flowers and fruits of all sorts--many too amusing or exquisite to ever experience match touched to wick. Great for gifts or souvenirs, they range from $1.50 to $35.The Zona Rosa is bordered by Reforma, one of Mexico City's main avenues.
