Margaret kept a detailed diary and Edward took thousands of photographs, which she would carefully place in scrapbooks. Their Airedale 'Barney' would accompany them in their newest Buick, as they visited as many national parks as they could.

Because of the volume of applicants and our limited volunteer resources, we have to rely on you check in with us periodically regarding the status of your application and the availability of a rescue Airedale Terrier. Please remember that for many reasons, we do not post all of the Airedales we are helping.  It is important to for you to keep in contact with us to check on availability of a rescue Dale. Also, If you have it in your heart to offer some of your time to our worthy cause, please complete an application and note that you would like to help.  Our ideal volunteer is one who has Airedale experience, training background is always wonderful, is home most of the time, and has secure fencing. Please be sure to put in an application so we have your contact information and know your interest in adopting.  The safety and happiness of our Airedales in need is our highest priority. For that reason, we are very selective with our adoptive homes. We look forward to hearing from you whether you are looking to adopt one of our wonderful Airedales, or would like to donate to NWATR.

A donation can be made in honor of someone's birthday, to remember a special Airedale who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge (see our Remembrance Page), or in lieu of a traditional holiday gift. We will send a customized Airedale card acknowledging your donation as well as sending a tax donation receipt to you. Please put in an application and note you are interested in helping homeless Airedale Terriers by opening up your home through foster care.  Take a moment and visit our national website at www.airedalerescue.net  for information on volunteering.
