Akita Puppies For Sale In Nm

SouthWest Akitas, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, has been dedicated to breeding, raising, and training superior quality Akitas for more than 10 years. We breed to produce Akitas that will be large, powerful, alert, with much substance and heavy bone, in accordance with the AKC Akita breed standard. In order to maintain the large size and heavy bone structure, we generally breed along the old Goshen bloodlines. We are one of the few breeding programs that still actively promote this bloodline. Temperament and the ability to fit into a family environment is also of great importance to us. We breed to dogs that are able to exhibit an alert and responsive, dignified and courageous temperament, within a family environment. We believe that a well balanced dog has titles on both ends. We strive to produce dogs that have both the confirmation of a dignified Akita and the temperament of a sound working dog, as the breed was originally intend for. As a demonstration of our commitment to produce dogs that are both physically and mentally sound, we often put both confirmation and obedience titles on our dogs.
The "Ch" signifies that the dog has been recognized as an excellent representation of the breed standard. Whereas, the "CD" indicates that the dog has demonstrated the temperament and mentally stamina that allows it to be an excellent companion and worker. Southwest Akitas is one of the few Akita breeders in the nation to regularly put both confirmation and obedience titles on their dogs.We hope to enhance and advance the breed through our efforts. Please contact us to discuss adopting one of our show or companion pups or for stud service. All of our puppies are guaranteed to be free of genetic defects. Please check the Breedings link to see pictures of puppies that are currently available to good homes. Thank you for visiting. All Rights Reserved.Available PupsCh. I renamed her (the shelter had given her a name since she was a stray) Kata, which means "worthy". Without a doubt, she is "worthy" of a second chance and a loving home. We think she is about 18 months old, super sweet and loving, and obviously recently had a litter of puppies. Please see her story below. 4 national Akita rescue groups came together to save this loving Akita, and now we need your help to provide her medical and boarding care!
