Alaskan Klee Kai Puppies For Sale In Florida

The Alaskan Klee Kai is a smaller version of the Alaskan Husky, though it physically resembles the Siberian Husky. It is between 10-40 pounds (4.3-18 kg), comes in 3 size varieties and 3 colors. Alaskan Klee Kais shed, bark and have a high energy level, therefore not making them ideal choices for everyone. Without the proper amount of daily and physical exercise they can become high strung. However, if in an appropriate home, the Klee Kai can be a wonderful companion. They are friendly but somewhat reserved with strangers. Docile and very loving, they need the humans around them to be calm but firm, confident and consistent pack leaders. Do not allow the Alaskan Klee Kai to develop Small Dog Syndrome. Height: Standard 15 - 17.5 inches (38 - 42 cm) Height: Miniature 13 - 15 inches (33 - 39 cm) Height: Toy under 13 inches (33 cm) Weight: Standard 23 pounds (10 kg) Weight: Miniature 15 pounds (7 kg) Weight: Toy under 10 pounds (4.3 kg) Prone to sensitive stomachs

Because of their size, these dogs can live in an apartment, but a house with at least a small yard is recommended. These dogs should be exercised regularly. They should be taken on long daily walks. Unknown yet, but 14 years is a good estimate. Average of 1 - 3 puppies This breed sheds and should be combed and brushed on a regular basis. The Alaskan Klee Kai has a lot of Alaskan and Siberian Husky, as well as small amounts of American Eskimo in it. They were developed in the ’70s and are a relatively new breed. They were bred to be companions and their numbers are increasing. "Temmie the Alaskan Klee Kai as a puppy at 8 weeks old. A little spitfire with lots of attitude! Super smart and good at manipulating her owners. She has more self-awareness than our other dog. You can constantly see her trying to puzzle out different situations. The breeder estimated her to be about 15 lbs full grown." Temmie the Alaskan Klee Kai as a puppy at 8 weeks old This is 2 1/2-year-old miniature male Alaskan Klee Kai dog, Kaia.

His owner's say he is a delightful companion in many ways: rarely barks, reserved but friendly, docile, very loving, no doggy breath or smell, minimal shedding, obeys well, etc.

You can never have enough info when it comes to a new breed I own a Shiba Inu and i'm that is 8 months old now. She is so well behaved and easy to care for (if you play with her enough) that i decided to get her a buddy dog once shes over one year old, and i've been doing some research.

First we were sure we would get another Shiba, but a black and tan one, but now we're thinking maybe get another breed? My girlfriend wanted a french bulldog or something, but i think we need another breed that is clean and primitive and odorless like the Shiba. So I have a few questions - I live in Brazil. Would a klee kai suffer living in a warm environment 12 months a year? Totally agree with Misha, they are a pretty resilient little breed, BUT they are bred down huskies so they need to be able to come into to a cool area. - Do they make alot of noise? Yes, they are a very talkative breed. They will talk when nervous, excited, angry, happy anything they will talk to you & they will talk loudly Sorta like the Shiba scream, Esme is the master of it, haven't heard Sizzle yet but we just brought her home today. - Can they live in an apartment? (its crazy how little space a Shiba needs and how much they sleep. Is the klee kai like that at all?) The klee kai can definatly live in an apartment, they can do with little exercise or lots of exercise.

With Esme & Sizzle, they are pretty hyper Klee Kai but all aren't like that. I would think they could stick with a Shiba although I don't know much about them. - Do their different sizes make a difference in how they are shaped/look? I wouldn't say the sizes make a difference but they can look differently, take a look at Sizzle & E. Sizzle has a lot longer of a muzzle and her ears are different, she is also a lot more petite than Esme, but it has to do with their parents etc. Misha is right you can get all colors, sizes, eye colors in the same litter & there is no guarantee that you will get a size or color in a certain litter. Sizzle's sister, Dreama, is a Mini & Sizzle is a small red, blue eyed toy which is EXTREMELY rare. Another thing to think about when getting a klee kai is they need INTENSE socialization for their entire lives, but especially when they are puppies. They are prone to shyness so it takes lots of work. Also they are a pretty new breed, been around since about the 70s if I recall correctly, so most breeders are pretty cautious about who they give them too & you will most likely be put on a waiting list.

Red AKKs are RARE, period. I NEVER thought I would get one because they were so rare, lots of breeders are working on the genetics so they can get more(my breeder included she has had 3 reds in the past year) but most of the time they are used as breeding dogs to try and make more reds, or sold to show homes. I think the best thing to do is find a breeder that you like & talk to them, LOTS. I talked to Sherry(my breeder for a YEAR before bringing Esme home & she got to know me so well that I didnt end up on her waiting list & I was offered Sizzle before anyone else) it pays off to talk to them a lot. My breeder does NOT ship her puppies, I think most other breeders will, not very sure on that though. Hope I helped you a little bit & good luck in your quest for your next pupmy family's posts | in the state of Florida. This is our current listing of dog breeders in FloridaMEET THE OWNERS Dominic & Isel Tiziano with D Boo, Maya Papaya and Pancho Years Open: 6 We moved from Illinois to Florida in 2006 and brought along two "furkids"- our Miniature Pinscher, Nina, and our Boston Terrier Mix, Pancho.

At the time, we lived in St. Pete and worked doing outside sales for the same company while traveling to Naples, and occasionally Orlando, on a weekly basis. With no family in town, we constantly had to juggle our work travel schedules to accommodate the dogs. While one of us traveled, the other would stay home and vice versa which meant many nights spent apart. We then began researching doggie daycares and boarding facilities throughout the west coast of Florida and Orlando. We visited a few, but only one made us feel like our dogs were truly loved and would provide a safe place they could play while we were gone. Nina and Pancho loved going to daycare and would wag their tails as we approached the facility. When we would pick them up, they would fall asleep instantly, exhausted from all the fun that had that day. This behavior eased our feelings of guilt and even allowed us to go on vacations without remorse. Everyday we visited the doggie daycare, we spoke of how wonderful it would be to own a similar facility.

Back in Chicago, we had been able to dog sit from time to time and loved caring for other people’s dogs while they were away. One day, a family friend, a veterinarian from New York, suggested we look into starting a Camp Bow Wow franchise, so we did! We opened our doors in October 2009 and were welcomed with open arms by the Naples community. In 2010, we launched our Home Buddies, in-home pet sitting business. We wanted to provide clients with a reputable team of reliable sitters that carried the same values and love for dogs that we were known for. As a team, we are able to help each other out in the event of an emergency or in the event that a particular caregiver is not available. In January 2014, we partnered with Danielle Cavanaugh to launch our Behavior Buddies dog training program. We want our customers to feel that they can rely on us for any of their pet care needs. Come by our camp and take a look for yourself. We hope to exceed your expectations and assure you that your doggy (or doggies) will be loved, pampered and safe while under our care!
