Puppy with rare cleft palate gets second chance in Sonoma The Sonoma Humane Society rescued an American bulldog puppy named Princess Fiona with a rare cleft lip and cleft palate. A puppy named after the ogre princess in "Shrek" is getting a second chance.Princess Fiona has become a social media sensation for the Sonoma Humane Society. Fiona's vet didn't feel good about that and reached out to the Humane Society. The now 7- week-old puppy has been under the care of six foster families and Humane Society staff ever since and is doing well.Fiona should be ready for surgery in just over a month and she will eventually be available for adoption.Click here to follow Fiona's journey on the Sonoma Humane Society's blog.
