My hats off to the Capture Integration in Atlanta who flew down to provide digital capture or the shoot. It was amazing when Dave Gallagher brought along two brand new Phase One IQ260 digital backs with DF+ cameras. The LeBron shoot was taken with the “King” of Medium Format Digital cameras and is the first editorial cover shoot done with the camera. The R Series features rise, fall, and shift built in to the body. The movements all take place on the rear-plane, so the lens remains completely static. Both the rise/fall and shift knob and their markings (in mm of movement) are easily accessible from the rear of the body and are conveniently placed next to each other. Both sets of movements are also fully self-arresting, meaning you do not need to loosen or tighten any locks to make adjustments. On the RM3Di and RL3D tilt and swing are built into the camera body itself, making tilt and swing available on every lens (23mm to 210mm). On both cameras the lens-mount itself can be released and rotated 90 degrees such that the mechanism swings rather than tilts the lens.

Most comparable products require 2 latches to lock lenses and digital backs. All Arca Swiss cameras utilize a single auto lock and one hand release circular lever that can be operated with one hand. The image-rise of all three R-series bodies is greater than the image-fall. However, the R-series can be mounted upside-down which allows the larger movement to be used for image-fall instead.

Honeywell Air Purifier Smells FunnyThis comes in handy for shooting canyons, cityscapes from skyscrapers, product photography and anywhere else you need a lot of image-fall.

The Arca Swiss R Line has the unique position of being able to accept a sliding back adapter. In fact, it accepts the same Arca Swiss Rotaslide Sliding Back Adapter that is used with the Arca Swiss F and M Line View Cameras. In addition, The R Line can accept 3rd party sliding back adapters, including one from the Kapture Group (we are a Kapture Group Dealer). This allows the possibility to use a ground glass in the field, while not having to un-mount and re-mount the ground glass and digital back.Digital & Film Back Adapters: Mount Hasselblad V Back to 4x5 Camera Sliding Board for Focusing Adapts Hasselblad V-Mount Digital Backs to SW612D Camera Body Mounts Nikon F Camera to 4 x 5 Camera Infinity Focus for Lenses 120mm & Longer Order by 4PM to Ship the Same Day Mount Sony E Body to ACTUS View Camera Adapts Contax 645 Film Backs to Arca-Swiss 6 x 9 Cameras Adapts Hasselblad H Film Backs to Arca-Swiss 6 x 9 Cameras Adapts Hasselblad V Film Backs to Arca-Swiss 6 x 9 Cameras

Previously I have been using Alpa system with it and have been fairly pleased with the results. I came across this Arca-Swiss Misura system and it seems very interesting and it has adapters for digital backs. Arca also claims this model would be good for digital use as well. I have been trying to gain more information on this camera but it seems its difficult to find.

Maybe there aren't many users around?? If you have any first hand experiences of the Misura model, I would be delighted to hear more! Also opinions on this camera or other suggestions of similar LF models that would work well with CFV-50 back are most welcomed. I would use the camera mainly for interior, architecture and landscape. Also for studio work as well. Sheldon Nalos , Sep 02, 2014; The Misura is basically a 4x5 film camera. While it could be used with digital, I'd suggest looking into the Arca M-Line 2 system as a more appropriate choice for a technical camera from Arca Swiss for use with a digital back.Ellis Vener , Sep 02, 2014; An Arca-Swiss 6x9cm camera , either an M-line or an FC with geared movements would be a better choice. studio work you should also look at a Sinar P3.Osmo Puupera , Sep 03, 2014; Thanks a lot for your responses. Yes you are definitely right, there are much better options than Misura system. I also found more information on Arca M-Line 2 system and well could be an option for me and my preferences.
