I explained exactly what I was looking for, what the puppy's purpose would be and what drives I needed. he began sending me a few pictures of a dog he called Dax. We renamed him Maximus. Maximus was 12 weeks old at the time and had been overlooked by potential families as another litter came close behind him. I did not mind him being a month older because guess what? He will house break sooner :). I have never been to their kennels so I can not speak for what they look like or what kind of condition they are in. I would imagine based on my dealings with them though they are in good shape. I had my dog shipped in because I really did not have any other reason to go to Mississippi, I am a fan of paved roads after all.... I'm kidding of course, he told me he could fly the puppy to me or could find him a ride online. I opted to have the puppy take a ride in a van because he came right to my house. Given the chance over again I probably would have had him flown in because of some issues with the other animals in the vehicle or the vehicle it's self having flees.

This is in no way Blackjacks fault but I just wanted to mention it as a caution if you select to have them sent by vehicle. Maximus is everything I wanted. He came out of the van fearless with his tail and ears up and ready to challenge the world. He has been here about a week and I wanted to wait a few days to see how he would act before I wrote a review simply on his appearance. In the K9 world we know it does not matter what a dog looks like, Maximus is a perfect example of the breed though. In week 1 he has learned to sit, lay down, give his paw, go up and down stairs, and house breaking is going very nicely using a crate. He is very alert and has nice ball and prey drive, He will hold on to a tug and not let go. I do not have a single bad thing to say at this point I could not be happier with our new addition. They are gaining two pounds a week which makes them about 34 pounds of muscle.w measure 20 and 19 inches tall. We have spent a fair amount of time trying to socialize them. Agility training should start in the near future. Both girls have settled into a routine and have become masters of their space. To say we are pleased would be an under statement.
