Chevy is a 5 year old, husky cross, neutered male sled dog who has already gotten the thumbs up from the vet after his tune up, sorry ... we mean checkup!... Sweet shy tentative girl...she is an 8 week old Husky cross and is ready to start interviewing for her forever home!! This big boy is curious and happy and a bundle of pup!! Escobar is a new sled dog in care, and he is all soft and fluffy heart. Escobar is a bit timid but approachable and he seeks out connection with people like we have not seen in some of the the more fearful sled dogs previously in care ever have....

Cassius is one of the new sleddie (read Retired Sled Dog) boys to come into care. We have had him in care for a couple weeks - and he is just a goofy, silly love of a dog.... Nala is not your average pug - she is two years old and full of life and energy. Being born in Europe means Nala is not the typical roly-poly sort of pug, she is very athletic and loves exercise! Nala was initially surrendered due to severe allergies in her first family.... Milo is a fabulous 5 month old Chihuahua cross. Mum was a tiny Chihuahua and although we don’t know who Dad was, we know he must have been a bigger dog!! Milo is almost housebroken and is crate trained in the car. He lets you know when he has to go outside but you have to be quick!! Archie is beyond all levels of cute that one typically sees. This young neutered boy is a beagle/spaniel mix... We aren't sure if that makes him a Beaniel or a Spangle - but we are sure he will melt your heart!... Meet our gorgeous Ashe. Ashe is an active but older dog.

He has proven quite curious and playful, even more so on his own than with other dogs. He has gotten along well with the other dogs and all the people - but he has also shown a particular love of toys and Kongs!... Say hello to our super duper Cooper! He is such a trooper, not a total party pooper! He is a tall, big boy - neutered and about 2 years old. He is two dogs in one big package - can wrestle and play with all the dogs one minute and then be at your feet for cuddles and love the next.... This delightful 8 month old, 80 pound boy is looking for his forever family. Beau loves other dogs, small and large. Right now his best friend is a 10 pound Brussels Griffon and they play really well together.... The Electric Unicorn (she even has a custom designed Electric Unicorn tattoo in her ear!) This 17 month old sweetie is looking for a new forever home. She has been spending her days at a Doggie Daycare and has done GREAT with all the doggies, but she prefers to be an only dog in her home....

In keeping with our D-Day theme, we would like to introduce Pearl the mother of the Band of Brothers puppies! Pearl is a wonderful, playful, exuberant, loving husky/shepherd cross. She has been absolutely wonderful with the dogs she has been out on walks with and has great recall.... One of our Mountain Man dogs, three year old Gracie, is ready to move on to her forever home. she has been in a foster for a year now but it is time for her to find a home that will commit to her for the rest of her life!... Still waiting for my perfect family to come along! I'm really a pretty confidant girl, I'm just scared of humans until I learn to trust them.... Calli has been in a foster home learning about houses and retired/domestic dog life and is doing great! She has really started to really figure out the perks of retired life; comfy dog beds, pet and snuggles for the asking, dog treats for just looking cute and of course new adventures!... Rondy is one of 5 sled dog sisters that came into care looking for retirement homes. Rondy is the most confident and outgoing of the girls. She could go in to a home as an only dog or with another dog. Now there are going to be people who think an 7 year old dog is old.... Copper is our doe-eyed sweet girl waiting for that home that will show her all the love that she secretly wants and totally deserves!... Kusko has come down from Fort St. James with her 4 sisters looking for a nice retirement home in Victoria. Kusko is waiting for a patient loving person that leads a quiet life to help her adjust to her new life in the big city....

This sweet 10 year old Chihuahua is looking for a home where she can be the Queen Bee! She has struggled with weight issues in the past (who hasn't?) and needs a home where her new family will make sure she can get down to her true size!! Zeus may not actually rule the Gods of Olympus - but he very well may rule your heart when you meet him! In fact he is such a love we think he should have been named Aphrodite! Zeus is a wonderful and loving big goofy husky cross. He has been great with other dogs - and even cats!... Rory is our stunning, 3 year old shepherd/husky/rottie(?) cross female dog. She LOVES all other dogs! And loves the water just as much!! She is a very high-energy, active dog who loves running and adventuring through trails. She would be a great running/hiking partner.... Three year old Summer is a retired sled dog - she looks to be a husky, shepherd mix of sorts and has come into care quite fearful but just waiting/longing for comfort and love under that fearful exterior....
