Blue Heeler Puppies For Sale Washington

The Australian Cattle Dog is the official name given to dogs known as Blue Heelers, Red Heelers, Australian Heelers or the Queensland Blue. They are a tough, courageous and intelligent working dog with a strength and endurance unlike any other dog its size. These dogs have many wonderful qualities, they are cattle herders, bred to work hard in the roughest of Australia's terrain. As a pet they also have many other desireable qualities including loyalty and protectiveness although are not suited to be left in the back yard to amuse themselves. Mageela is a word derived from the aboriginal language in the Arnhem Land region of the Northern Territory of Australia. It came from a billabong/water system that ran through Mudginberri Station where Joy, the owner of Mageela Kennels, spent seven years of her life. This is where Joy first started to breed Australian Cattle Dogs in 1981. She moved to Canning Vale, Perth, in 1991. Tall dark and handsome. I’m a cheeky little boy who loves to follow my foster mummy around the house, when shes at work i lounge on the couch with my foster grandpa, and we watch all the footy shows, and I get lots of pats and cuddles. Sometimes I go hunting and find shoes but then I get  put outside to play with Luna the resident redheeler, shes playful and full of beans just like me!
Although she doesn’t tire out as quickly as me. Im still a baby, but I’ve learnt to sit before i eat and come when I’m called! My house training is coming along really well, but sometimes if things are a bit too exciting I forget to go outside, but usually I do remember. As Jess is still only young and wants to please she is very responsive to training and wanting to learn. Jess is located in Perth but can travel. Sweet Sally is pure gold – both in colour and personality! Since breaking out of the pound and moving in with her foster family, Sally has shown herself to be a confident, super-affectionate goofball who is eager to please and be a part of her family. She is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door, eats her meals like a lady and is not protective of her food. She loves to go for a car ride, and LOVES to go for a walk. She can sit like a lady before crossing the road, but needs some help from her new owners to show her how to be more ladylike when walking on her lead. Sally is a quick learner and would like a human who will continue to train and socialise her.
She has been off-lead in quiet environments, and doesn’t go far from her foster family and comes when called. Sally currently has two playmates to hang out with and she adores playing with them. She enjoys making new doggy friends and is a little bit shy to begin with but makes friends quickly and easily. She has not shown to be reactive to other dogs in any way. She has met a cat and didn’t care less about it and has met some school age children on her walks and was pretty happy to know them. She gets a little bit excited when she first meets new humans and can’t wait to give kisses and cuddles, so maybe better with some older humans who can show her how to be patient. Sally is just as happy to be curled up at your feet enjoying a cuddle as she is playing with her doggy mates, or going out to explore. She really is a smoochy girl who loves to snuggle. She is a quiet girl with lovely manners and will do as she is told. She is eager to earn a place in your heart and accept the boundaries set for her.
Give her a place and she will happily go to it. She currently sleeps in her own bed in the laundry but will happily sneak into a bedroom or onto a lounge for a head rub if someone leaves a door open This beautiful girl will make the best companion for someone who is prepared to give her some love and guidance. She would do well in a family home where she can be the puppy love of your life. Sally is not super active by working dog standards however, will need regular exercise and socialisation as well as mental stimulation to be the best she can be. In the right hands she will go from strength to strength and melt your heart. He is a handsome Black and Tan with a very distinct ridge, pointy Kelpie ears, square jaw and big feet. The good news is no more annoying puppy habits. He is well versed in his commands and has a patient and well mannered disposition.
He is polite around food and will wait till he is told he can eat. He will go to his bed or in the crate when told. Charley boy loves his walks and is great on and off lead with excellent recall. He’s great in the car, calmly laying down and doesn’t run off while the gate is open. He’s been fantastic with his carer’s cats from the start with great impulse control. He also has a very sensitive side to be aware of and loves pats and attention and just to be with you. Of course no one is perfect. Charley is dog reactive so needs to be controlled around dogs he doesn’t know. Someone with a bit of experience is therefore needed for Charley in this regard. However after overcoming initial reactivity Charley has quite happily lived with and gotten along with other dogs in a previous home. He really is a wonderful, sweet and easygoing boy to have around and will make someone right for him very happy. Mallee is a lovely little pup, she can be mischevious but she can also be very laid back and loves a cuddle with her sisters.
