Welcome To The Sacramento Valley Boxer Club! The Sacramento Valley Boxer Club (SVBC) was started before 1985 with a small group of boxer lovers meeting monthly in each others living rooms. It took several years to hold our first sanctioned matches and with a great deal of work and pride, we finally held our first AKC point specialty show in conjunction with the 1995 American Boxer Club Regional in Pleasanton, California. SVBC encourages adherence to the definition of the true Boxer breed as established in the Standard adopted by the American Boxer Club and approved                                                 by the American Kennel Club. Currently, SVBC holds it's Specialty Shows in April held on the grounds at Cal Expo in Sacramento.  In early Summer it's time for the annual SVBC membership picnic, and in the Fall SVBC holds it's AKC Sanctioned B/OB match. 1. Own or Co-Own an AKC registered Purebred Boxer 2. All applicants within a 100 mile radius must attend 2 SVBC General Membership meetings, both of which must be attended within 6 months prior to application submittal.  Your application will be submitted to the Board for approval and voted on at the next General Membership meeting.  Applicants outside the 100 mile radius will be voted on at the General meeting following Board approval. 3. Complete your application & Sponsor form and return it with a check (payable to SVBC), with a copy of your AKC Registration to the Club Secretary. 4. Two (2) SVBC Club Members in good standing must sponsor all new applicants.  The sponsors must be from different families. 2016 SVBC Membership Meeting Schedule: Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings and events! CRUSH has the most soulful dark eyes and such an endearing puppy smile. Complete with his bright blue collar, CRUSH is one handsome dog! CRUSH is so talented, he can wiggle his ENTIRE body when happy (read: receiving attention). He is not shy at all and loves to meet new people. His classic move is to lean into you to ask for attention. He likes to gives his people kisses and is happy to kiss his canine buddies as well! CRUSH is house-trained for pottying outside and has not had any accident inside. He is also crate-trained and is happy to sleep in his crate through the night.
