We stayed in cabin 2. 1) There is no cell phone service at all.

My mom is sick and i had to give the cabin office # to the nurse at nursing home in case of emergency. This made me worry the whole time during our stay.2) The a/c unit in the bedroom upstairs doesn't work well at all. The kids offered to sleep up there and we slept on a hard futon mattress with one side that drops down, like your going to fall off the bed. So i had to sleep crooked to keep from falling off. This will make your body sore when you wake up. 3) They need to spend more time cleaning the whole cabin. Dirty!4) The back door gets stuck, which makes it very hard to open. 5) The stairs leading to bedroom upstairs in very steep, incase you have health issues.6) The firepit was full of ashes that we had to clean out.7) If you are going to own a business, please answer the phone with business name and not with just a "hello"! ShareFlag10/20/2015We were expecting rustic but didn't expect the discomfort. There was no furniture to sit in and relax that was comfortable. The coffee pot took 1 hour to brew.

The small refrigerator was not turned on so we had to go get ice to keep food good. The remote did not turn off the TV so you had to get up out of the bed to turn it off. (I know that sounds minor but when you watch tv to get sleepy then have to get up to turn it off it defeats the purpose). I did not smell chemicals in the hot tub so wasn't sure if it had been cleaned or not. We can't take a chance with this because of health issues. We had booked for 2 nights but ended up only staying one. A one inch crack under the door and broken mini blinds. Little things could make this cabin so much more comfortable.ShareFlag10/13/2015The best thing I can say is the grass was mowed. The cabin was dirt, cruel at best and lacking in decent dishes and cooking items. The stove was a joke since you couldn't tell what temp it was since it would show on 1 and be red hot. The mattresses on the bed where very old and dirty--they even had old futon mattresses on top of two of them I guess to make them softer???.

One of the beds you couldn't even sit up because they had made it so high off the ground the top bunk with less than 18 inches. All the beds and tables were made for someone over 6'5 my husband was the only one that could reach the floor when siting at the table. The RULES writing all over the house were a joke. And if you should decide you wanted to use the hot tub by getting in using an old broken cooler if you didn't shower first there was a 35 dollar charge. We were told there was a creek which you could not see or hear from the cabin and I was told if we wanted to go to the creek you had to crawl under the barb wire fence. To get the hot water to come on in the tub you had to jam the handle hard at least they told us this when we got there. It was very dark in the bedroom and bathroom. The dust was over a half inch thick in places and some of the pans were even dirty. The outside porch had not been cleaned since the last people that stayed their crap was still on the table. There was no lake or creek that could be seen from the cabin as some of the other reviews show--I have no idea where those pictures were taken.

Bed was more comfortable than most hotels I have stayed at and the privacy if the hot tub was extremely nice.
