A fully stocked Westy carries 14 gallons of fresh water. It has a sink and faucet. The refrigerator and stove run on propane which, if filled, can last over a week of camping (daily refrigerator and stove use). All the guys working were friendly, efficient and courteous. The employees were VERY GOOD. The truck, however, was in poor condition. The climate control did not work at all. The parking brake did not work, a potential liability issue. The windows were extremely difficult to roll up or down. This truck is unacceptable but I was in a bind. Kody makes this location click. In over 50 rental experiences with U-Haul over the past 26 years, he was the best. Our 1st experience in Bremerton, Wa in 1990 was horrible and set the tone. Spokane, Wa was equally bad. Idaho Falls, was good.

This time was excellent! I almost always get upgraded to the next size vehicle. It would be nice to get what I reserved. It would also be nice if the smaller trucks/vans were available for one-way moves. Otherwise, it was a good deal. site was easy to find and signage was great. people were nice, knowledgeable and fast and I wasn't the only one in the store. The workers are helpful and fast. The gentleman there when we returned the vehicle went beyond his duty by helping us jumpstart our own vehicle as he was trying to close the store for the day. Nice young man checking in dolly, however he failed to check in equipment as promised (said he would email receipt) and luckily i called this morning to verify turn in. Good thing i did. They checked in over phone and emailed receipt although it showed today vs. yesterday when I actually turned it in. Always get final receipt before leaving. There were cigarette butts in the truck, but otherwise the reservation and return experience was very quick and smooth.

Terry was incredibly friendly and helpful, and welcomed me to the area, and even suggested craft breweries to explore in the area. Considering the ridiculous excuse of an employee encountered at the Eureka location, Terry was a very welcome change of pace. Thank you for making it easy! Very happy great customer service. I wish that the reservation system would have told us the size truck that we reserved was not available rather than getting a phone call late the day before telling us that the 10 foot truck was overbooked and asked if we could go down to a van or pay extra to get a larger truck. It would have been good customer service to give a discount on either option given or had the original reservation tell us that it was not available so we could make a decision without being under the gun. The electric part to the trailer wasn't working at first, so they had to take some time to fix it.

I didn't like the idea of having to go around a huge pile of boxes in order to see someone at the counter instead of when you first walk in. Always have great service at this location I reserved my truck on line. It was one of the easiest processes. Once at the store it took less than 5 minutes before I was out the door and on my way to moving. trailer had dirt and everything inside it. I had to clean it all out before I used it. Line was a little long to pick up my equipment, but they were professional and had what I neededI had a serious misjudgmement and wanted a trailer for a day and a half, obviously that's 18 hours, or so I thought. They called me asking where the trailer was and I argued that I rented it for 18 hours and I wasn't late. Turns out I needed it for 36 hours. They took care of it and charged me one day for a two day rental. I am so happy that there are good decent people out there that understands mistakes can be made.
