We will be arriving at the Denver airport and will rent a car there and then we want to return the car to the Denver Union Station as we will be leaving for home by Amtrak. It appears that there are no car rental facilities at the train station. Any suggestion on how to return the rental car to a facility close by would be appreciated. There are no rental car offices in Denver Union Station. Hertz lists a location at the "Amtrak Station", but if you reserve there, they'll just send a car to pick you up and bring you to the Hertz downtown Denver location (2001 Welton Street).
