It was a workout to get it on the car seat as it barely fits this particular model. The little face cover is excellent for those rainy days;
you can cover up baby's little face for the time that you're outside walking him/her to the door. Now that it's on the car seat, I love it. I don't have to dress the baby in so many layers that it's a pain to get him in and out of them once we get to where we're going despite the cold weather outside. It allows me to dress him normally or possibly with one extra layer and the Cozy Cover all winter. Though I did keep a blanket handy just in case, I only had to use it when we were outside for prolonged periods. My ONLY complaint about the Cozy Cover is the fact that it barely fits my car seat. No more blankets to throw over babies face, I put my hand in here and I could just feel the heat rising up off my daughter's body. (She was wearing something warm too of course) Only trouble was the flap sometimes didn't stay down in the wind. Otherwise this thing was a life saver during those winter storms!
Yes () No (1)  Report Yes () No (1) This fit my infant's car seat perfectly (Evenflow Embrace 35) and it so easy to use. I had orginally purchased a canopy cover that strapped to the handle of the carrier/seat but it would blow up at the slightest wind gust. I bought this Cozy Cover and couldn't be more pleased. It's easy to put on, and at this stage of my baby's life it's easy to get her in/out of it. The side zippers allow enough room to do this without having to take the cover off. It's soft to the touch on the outside and the inside is lined with a warm fabric. It's also machine washable; which is always handy. We've had frigid single digit temperatures in the past couple of weeks and this has definetly been put to good use. Instead of needing to layer multiple blankets; I just put one blanket on the baby and then use this cover & she stays toasty warm and content. It's similar to a more expensive product from JJ Cole (which I also bought & since returned) but I prefer this Cozy Cover because it gives better coverage on the sides where then handles attach, it has velcro to hold the cover over the baby's face when we are outdoors (and also a strip of velco to hold back the cover when we want to open it for the baby)
, is SAFER than using plush bunting or the products that go under a baby, and is half the price of the JJ Cole product. For the price you can't beat it! I highly suggest it for all new parents in cold climates. I bought this online for $10 something, expecting something decent enough to get me through the timeframe I needed. When I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised. It's fleecy and thick and well made.
It's easy to assemble as you just stretch it over the carrier and you're done. Glad I did, it's keep my daughter warm and cozy on the cold days. Yes (3) No (0)  Report Yes (3) No (0) It was hard to tell if I was buying the thicker fleece lined cover or not. This IS the heavy one I was searching for. My sister has one and these work wonderfully!! Yes (1) No (0)  Report Yes (1) No (0) I got the Cozy cover to protect my baby from winter elements figuring it'd be better than a blanket over his carrier. What a waste of money. The hole for his face is almost at the top of the carrier so if you have a younger infant, it totally covers their face. The worst part was there was no clearance between the cover and my baby's face so it was always rubbing on his face when it was zipped up and the flap was down. To get it into a position that didn't irritate him, I had to use hair clips to roll back the edges and zip down the closure part.
