Although we are no longer involved in the day to day operations of running a facility, our mission has not changed: The Texarkana Animal League exists to provide protection and care for abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted companion animals. We also want to promote animal welfare through programs and services that mutually benefit animals and people. All proceeds will benefit animal care and adoptions, and will assist with our new community outreach programs such as a low-income spay/neuter assistance program, as well as educational and service projects to assist TAL's belief that all animals are deserving of life, respect and care. In 2008, over 2200 shelter animals received vaccinations & vet care from funds raised and we will continue to provide the same care to shelter animals this year.

Please get your reservations in. We will be limiting the event to ...approx. 175 people total. Because we want this to be a family event, we don't want it to be overcrowded.. We can accommodate more, but then the entire purpose kind of gets loss and we may not be able to provide that personal interaction that folks have come to expect when they come to our facility. This is our first go at this. We are doing everything we can think of to prepare and make it a fun event. If you have ever been to a party here, you know we always go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels welcome and has a good time. This will be no different. There will be miniature golf, train rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and a special appearance by Elsa. Currently we are at about 75 -80 people with reservations. The start time will be at 6:00 P.M. with the movie kicking off approx. 8:30 - 8:40.

The little white on cries to be held. As soon as I hold them, they nestle into me and stop crying. They need a foster who can give them love and attention until I can get them into a blind cat sanctuary. Because of being blind,they will have to be kept in their crate,which I will furnish.They use the litter box and eat on their own.
