No doubt, selection of the right pup to meet one's particular expectations is extremely important. McPherson was sentenced to 7-9 years in prison.On January 21, 2015, a Wilmington police officer found McPherson with 20 bindles of heroin on his lap while in the parking lot of a bowling alley. McPherson attempted to drive away but the officer stopped him. Police said a young child was present in the car at the time.A few months later on August 10, a Wilmington police officer made contact with McPherson while he was riding a bike in the area of Lily Drive. The officer searched his backpack and found a loaded 9mm handgun. McPherson had previously been convicted of a felony and was prohibited from carrying a firearm.Detectives with the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office received a tip on Sept. 2 that a possible meth lab was at McPherson's home on Touche Me Not Drive in the Kings Grant area.Law enforcement searched the residence and found a Smart Water bottle that contained an active one-pot meth lab. Authorities also found various items used to make meth including a sheet of paper with step-by-step instructions.
