Each notch on the valve could increase or decrease the temperature between 4 and 16 degrees Fahrenheit. Replace the shower handle and repeat the temperature test. Continue to adjust the temperature until you feel comfortable with the settings. Push the “Rotational Limit Stop” anti-scald valve against the stem. Slide the handle over the stem and anti-scald valve.
