PETSinc is a nonprofit, pet rescue and adoption organization proudly serving the Midlands of South Carolina since 1991. With the help of our generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and a loving community of families, PETSinc continues to grow. We currently operate a 10,000 sqft adoption center located in West Columbia, SC. From this location, we place over 3,200 animals into adoption or temporary foster homes each year. In addition, we continually house approximately 100 homeless animals while they wait for their forever families. We are a private, non-profit organization, not a municipal or government agency. We receive no operating support from the government or national animal welfare groups. Please stop by and show your support as we celebrate a monumental event this year – 25 years of making tails wag! Dog owners are generally more happy than non-pet owners. The interaction with and love received from a dog is proven to help people stay positive. The stereotype that dogs are more affectionate than cats is just that: a stereotype.
In fact, it turns out that cats can be just as good companions as dogs. One of the toughest things a nonprofit organization has to overcome is longevity. PETSinc is proud to be celebrating 25 years of making tails wag. If you have found a dog or cat wearing a PETSinc “Ticket Home” Pet ID tag, please call us immediately. Pictured above: Dr. Crowe runs with the big dogs. We are here for the life of your pet...because we care. We are here for you and your family from the pitter patter of puppy and kitten paws to the tromping steps of the healthy adult fur-baby to the slowing down of your aging senior. We consider you part of our Creekside family and hope you come to think of Creekside as part of yours. We are in Goose Creek, next to Big Lots in the Crowfield Village Shopping Center at 431 St. James Avenue. Dr Crowe has been my vet of choice since she was at Dr. Samuel Seashole's practice in Moncks Corner. Creekside is close to my home and easy to get to. Joan M., Moncks Corner, SC Initially, I chose Creekside because of the location. At the time they were practically in my backyard. But the staff and the people kept me coming back even after I moved farther away. Sam R., Goose Creek, SC Dr. Crowe performs ear crops for local clients as well as many who travel from different parts of the state  to get "Dr. Crowe's ears" (Yemassee, Columbia, Beaufort, SC.)
Additionally, she has performed surgery on patients coming to her from NC, Georgia, Virginia and even NY. Below is a slideshow and online album featuring some examples of Dr. Crowe's Ear Crops: various breeds and styles. Dr. Crowe regularly performs ear crop surgery (various cuts and styles) on Doberman Pinschers, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, Boxers, Schnauzers,on more rare breeds such as Argentine Dogo, Bouvier des Flandres, Cane Corso and Beauceron (all breeds with cropped ears.) Review some of her work (from surgery to post surgery here.) When you come in for an ear crop consultation, she will cover any of your questions and concerns. Additionally, there is a hard copy (photo) book of her ear crop work for your reference that you are invited to review at the clinic! Feel free to email your favorite styles that you have discovered online. Dr. Crowe notes that ear cropping is a time-consuming commitment of care and after-care (especially for longer cuts) and is not for everyone. For some people, "natural" is best for them and their pet.
Every case is unique and should be considered carefully. If you are unsure, she will help you arrive at the best decision for you and your four-legged loved one. There are age/weight cut-off points. To find out if your pet is within those "windows" please call us at 843-824-8044. From a Dobie Crop Client "Dr Crowe performed the ear crop for our doberman puppy. We found her online and after we met her and her staff in person we knew we made the right choice. I wasn't 100% on board with the crop and she made me feel completely comfortable. She also handled our unruly human babies with kindness and patience as they sat through the visits. Dr. Crowe and her staff saw our pup for his puppy visits and throughout the ear crop process. I HIGHLY recommend her office. She never rushed us, she explained everything to where we could understand, she gave us training tips for our puppy and talked to us about her dogs. We would use her as our regular vet, but we live in Mt. Pleasant and the commute isn't fun.
