Staffy cross (he is a small boy, looks like a kelpie face) age approx 8mths This boy is a tiny one, and has a chunky body that makes him look like a nugget. This boy was given away about 5mths ago, and has ended up in the pound. Her old owner can not take him back due to her dog being dog aggressive (so no negative comments about that please). This boy is very unsure of himself in the pound, he has had little to no lead training and would drop on the ground if he needed a break.

He loves belly rubs as well. He would sit on command and loved treats (he looks like he has had a lot of treats in his time). He met the deaf Bull Arab girl and sniffed her bottom, then wanted to play. He would go well with another friendly dog of the same size. Using Kitchenaid Mixer To Mash PotatoesFemale at a guess 4yrs This girl seems to be deaf, she is very stressed at the moment and when she was let out for a run she was looking to get out of the fenced area and would say she will need a secure yard with colourbond fencing at least.

She was strong on lead, and would when standing still, she would push onto the end of the lead, and from my experience it seems she could possibly have been chained up in the past. She is very underweight, her spine protrudes and her ribs are easily visible, with depressions between each rib bone, her hip bones protrude as well. She does has some muscle tone though. Her skin is greasy and may need looking at by a vet. She does bark a lot, after letting her have a run and given treats and toys tossed for her (she would run to then, but not pick them up), she did lay quietly on the ground near us and jump up for a pat. She does have some training, sits on hand command and for treats (she does snatch them a bit), and will shake hands. So she has been trained, and hopefully loved at some time during her life. The reason we believe she may be deaf, she has no response when called, or when you clap your hands together (no ear movement or body acknowledgement at all), she needs either to see you with a treat to sit, or smell it (we had no reaction when she did not look at us).

She met another smaller dog, she did not like him sniffing her bottom and let out a small grumble and he left her alone. She was fine when she met him head on and was even wanting to play, so she would need to be tested with other dogs outside the pound environment to further assess her behaviours around other dogs. Female age at a guess - 2-4yrs This girl is very bouncy and jumps up a lot, she reduces jumping when told to sit and given treats but needs further training to stop this behaviour. A bit strong on lead, met another dog, she was keen to meet her, and would get on well with a friendly dog the same size as her. Colourbond fencing would be needed to keep this girl in. A nice girl that would love to be part of a family.
