Good quality for the price. Perfect solution for our window treatments.I was looking for something modern and they fit the bill.
Ive seen better quality brackets and locking screws, for sure. Needed double-rods to span a w-I-d-e (8-foot) window and these sure fit the bill. Very strong (non-bending) rods w/3 sturdy brackets to prevent the sagging of a drape and a sheer... Very happy with my purchase!!! Really great rod system for 2 sets of curtains. I used the smaller rod for sheers and larger rod for heavier curtains and it looks great, simple, clean and modern. This curtain rod looks amazing! If we didn't have custom blinds in every room, I would have this rod hung above every window! the instructions are minimal, but if you have every installed curtain rods before, it is easy enough. The picture makes it look like its much higher quality than it actually is. It looks and feels cheaper. See and discover other items: 1in diameter curtain rodAny idea when the black finish will be available again? Can these rods be ceiling mounted- use as room divider- 12 foot span?? I would think so.
You might want to reinforce the rod a bit if going 12 foot. I put gorilla two sided tape on the inside of rod. Is this a telescoping rod, or do you screw the separate sections together. I'd like to avoid telescoping. Yes it does, and in my opinion doesn't look bad. It is 2short rods and they all slide together, it was confusing to put together but looks good. I'm trying to figure out what size of curtain rings to get with this rod. When I look at what other customers purchased along with this rod, I see clips that don't seem to fit the diameter of this rod. I think I need atleast 2 inch curtain rings. The packaging states 1-1/4" diameter center rod. This item comes as two 86"-144" rod packages with directions on how to make them one rod. I installed three sets under a cornice, covering three sets of sliders. Is there a piece one can purchase, which can join them together when one removes the finials. They have a hollow space in which a dowel could be inserted.
Do you carry anything like that ???? Hi - if these are meant for the INSIDE of patio doors (as answered in my question below) , the listing is incorrect as it states: "...making it ideal for updating your outdoor patio" and "Product Features: Outdoor". This is incorrect and frustrating as I just paid someone to have these these installed. I installed them INSIDE and they not only look great but they work great too. When I bought them, I figured that if they were made for outdoors, there would be no reason they couldn't be used for indoors. So far there have been no problems. Hi - I bought these for my outdoor patio but am concerned that nothing on the box stated "outdoor use" although it is listed here on the website. Can anyone confirm these are made to use outdoors and won't rust? I am actually using it for the inside of my patio to block sunlight but will still be subject to various weather conditions. This is meant for the inside of patio doors. This may rust outdoors.
I need a 265" curtain rod. how can I put these together to make that? Can these rods be combined with smaller ones to come to that size? Yes, we combined the rods to make one large curtain rod to cover a 15 foot span. We did need 2 support brackets about each 5 foot section. How many mounting brackets come within the 15 foot rod section. Is there some in the middle to support the middle section of the rod? I have mine up with three brackets although I can't remember how many came with it. It's spanning 4 windows and is pretty sturdy. I was actually shipped 2 of the 86-144" rods with instructions to combine pieces to achieve the longer length. There were 3 brackets with each rod, so 6 total. I have mine up with 4 brackets...this is a very sturdy rod, I highly recommend! I purchased the 144 to 240" rod. Plenty of support brackets come with these rods. I have a Florida type room with three 5' windows on one wall. My rod is 16' plus some inches across that wall.
I used two brackets in the middle, but only because it worked with how the windows are placed on the wall. Probably didn't need two brackets in the middle, but didn't want a bracket in the center of the middle window. So, I placed the brackets so when I open the curtains, each panel gathers and stops at a support bracket and when the panels are open you don't see the brackets - just the beautiful rod. Hope that makes sense. The rods are substantial and I could have easily used just one bracket in the middle if that worked for my situation. I believe it came with 2 additional support brackets, however you will probably only need one CENTER support bracket unless your curtains are VERY heavy. I am totally pleased with these rods. They are not only attractive, but also but well made and strong. I want to use this rod for my patio door. I have a grommet canvas patio panel. Can this rod support the panel without using the center support? I would think absolutely yes, it should be fine.
The rods are very sturdy and I am very pleased with my purchase. I have one rod extended out 13' with only one center support, and the other rod extended almost 17' with one center support. Even though my grommet draperies are very lightweight , I have over 408" of drapes on each curtain rod. I would say no. We tried it and even without adding curtains our 16 foot span sagged without the center support. We didn't want to drill into the door frame, so these didn't work for us for that door. I just purchased two sets to extend 240". I'd rather not send them back but for my application, I need another "outer" section. Rather them returning these rods, can I purchase just the 1 piece I need, separately? We do apologize, we do not currently offer pieces for this item separately. Can this curtain rod be hung from ceiling? No, this cannot be hung from the ceiling. Yes, it certainly can be hung from the ceiling. Just attach the bracket to the ceiling instead of the wall.
Are curtains able to slide past the brackets to close all the way? We can appreciate the fact you want a firsthand account of the product. You will receive an email notification every time you get a response I put one link of each end of the curtain on the other side of the bracket. It then covers the entire rod to the end. My husband thought of it. The pole sits into the brackets so there is no way for the curtains to slide past the brackets. If you are using a very long pole, you would probably need several curtain panels anyway, so 1-2 curtain panels could slide up to each bracket, for instance. We used 4 brackets and put curtain panels in between each of the the brackets (2 in the middle to come together and one of each side. You need to adjust the curtain panels so that you can open the area that you would like. The curtains can not get past the brackets (as is the case with most brackets) What are the dimensions of the wall brackets? Unfortunately, the information you have requested is currently unavailable.
You will receive an email notification once an answer is posted. Brackets need to be attached to the wall above the glass doors. The picture looks as if the bracket attaches to the ceiling, which won't work in this application. Hello SRR, the brackets can also be wall mounted and include the necessary hardware. Where can I purchase an additional mounting bracket? It sounds like this comes with three total, but I would need four (one for each end, and two middle supports). Hello rbcash, you will be contacted by Customer Care regarding additional brackets. Have a great day! I received five brackets with my 240" rod. I have it installed 18' across, with all five brackets in use and they work quite well. I ordered this product. You will get 6 mounting brackets. You will receive 2 sets of curtain rods and use the extenders from both sets, but you will not use all of the end caps. We were very happy with this purchase. I have a patio drawer that opens toHow does this rod work for my patio door
Hello Chicagopolock, this item will work properly with patio doors that opens to the right. Please feel free to contact us again with any further questions. Hi - where can I purchase an additional mounting bracket??? It sounds like it comes with three... two for each end and one for the center. I would need two center brackets. Hello tindell936, you will be contacted by Customer Care with information regarding a mounting bracket. How many brackets are required for a 183" rod length? Hello TigerDad2010, the number of brackets required will depend on the weight of drapery used. The manufacturer recommends four to five brackets for maximum support. Is this a telescopic rod? If so how many pieces and joins? Customercare1 gave two different answers to this question. Oct 14 to Vik answer is two poles and on Dec 15 to palvash the answer is 3. One middle and two ends. Which answer is correct? Hello Tat D, this set includes two 86 to 144-inch window rods that combine to adjust to 240 inches.
