The Oreck is lighter weight and more manueverable around small onjects but it spins at 6000 revs which... It feels so cheap that I've only unlocked the handheld small vacuum. I have spent more time getting the fur/hair off the brush than vacuuming.

Soniclean Soft Carpet Vacuum Cleaner Reader in Upstate NY Light weight and powerful. I have burnt up 3 vacuums on this carpet. 2 Baggers and 1 canister. This is the first one that seems to work well and keep the floor as clean as it can be. Doesn't go under furniture. I have a Kirby now which I like better however this is not a bad vacuum at all. It,s a good Vacuum ,and I like the light weight. and also clean with the Filterbags, compared to " bagless Vac's Soniclean sent me a vacuum and the handheld vacuum. After seeing this vacuum on TV I had to try this vacuum and boy was it a fun review. This vacuum works really well.And hoping this is the last I will need to buy. I have gone through many vacuums cleaners more than I would like to admit. Bought this for my daughter and her husband. So far they love it. Said it's on thenoisy side but they got use to it quickly. Maybe I got a dud but it has been nothing but trouble from the start. It kept getting jammed and was very loud.
