This is not me trying to get anyone to part with anymore of their hard earned cash and so if you don't believe me then please try the seat belt way first and then go to a baby store and get them to fit a test/display model Isofix base in your car and you will see just how much easier it is with a base.The beauty of a base is that rather than having to re-thread the car seat belt each time you need to pop the infant car seat in and out of your car, you simply click the infant seat in to place (there is an indicator that confirms this has been done correctly and stays red if the seat isn't properly in place) and then when you wish to take the seat out you pull the release handle on the infant carrier and the seat pops out easily leaving the base still secured into place.This base can be fitted to your car either with the car's seat belt if you don't have Isofix points, or with the car's Isofix points which all new cars now I think have automatically installed at manufacture.
