Greg Burrus is a licensed architect and registered builder focused on the design and construction of new houses. He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Architecture and began his professional career in Louisville, Kentucky working with architectural firms serving as a project architect on a wide variety of projects including museums, institutional, educational, and corporate buildings. Greg’s architectural and construction training combined facets of design, architectural history, structural engineering, and construction methods. Greg started his own company in 1988 and quickly developed a growing interest in residential design and construction. The work of his company ranges from modern to traditional styles, with an emphasis in recent years on New Urbanism. This is exemplified by Greg’s work at Norton Commons and Asbury Park, where combined he has completed approximately 130 homes, condominiums, and townhouses. In the only Home Builder’s Association of Louisville Homearama at held Norton Commons, the firm won 1st Place awards for Best Builder and Best Interior Design for the “Metropolitan” model from among 21 houses entered.

The house also won awards for Best Kitchen and Best Tile & Marble. Greg and his wife and business partner, Jeanie, designed and furnished the interior of the Homearama entry, and are available to assist clients on all houses they construct with material, finish, and color selections. Jeanie is also the business manager of the company, handling the day-to-day financial operations. Greg and his staff use a Design-Build approach to his projects. Design-Build is an integrated method of project delivery in which one entity works under a single contract with the client to provide design and construction services. One entity, one contract, one unified flow of work from initial concept through completion. And, since their office is centrally located in Norton Commons, they are always accessible to take care of any necessary warranty items that may arise after the sale is complete.
