There is no better place to beat the relentless Georgia heat, and boy has it been hot! In general, there are fewer people looking at lake homes this year, yet we are right on track to match last year’s record-breaking sales. Our theory is that the lukewarm buyers, those who like to look at lake property as a hobby, have decided to wait. We attribute that to the contentious presidential election that has eroded buyer confidence and pushed that dream further down the road for some people. But the folks who are looking seem to have their check books in-hand, and they are pulling the trigger to buy their dream homes. We’ve enjoyed working with buyers who are seriously committed to finding their dream lake homes. That makes our jobs easier and more fun. Our team has had a great time this summer meeting new friends by sponsoring Lanier events. That includes the Lake Show concert charity fund raiser, the Gateway to Hope gala and silent auction, and several Lake Lanier Association events.

We also sponsored the annual Lake Lanier Poker Run benefitting area children’s charities.
