I have been searching for the right air purifier for over a year. I just found it!! It is quiet, removes smoke from the air very quickly. I like that is oscillates, and has non invasive lights on it so at night you can sleep and know where it is. I ordered this because my doctor told me that I need this being that I am Asthmatic & where I live has been making me sick. I love having this. I have it running 24/7. I might get another one for me.Installed it one week ago and it does a great job, moves volumes of air while being really quiet:) Using the pre filter for allergens and pet dander extremely pleased! Put it in the laundry room next to the cat box. I feel that it is quiet compared to some I have owned. As for the gassing smell that does dissipate after a week or so is similar to the new car smell. I am buying my second Air Genius 4, because the first one has worked so well. I see results behind the air cleaner on the wall and filter that I have to clean because of all the dust.
