Great location off 81 near shopping, 5 minutes from historic district. Clean, nicely decorated, contemporary, VERY comfortable beds and pillows, great shower, indoor pool, standard continental breakfast, 12:00 checkout, convenient parking. A few years ago, my brother convinced me and my husband that we should give Sleep Inn & Suites a try. From our very first stay, we've received the most wonderful, warm, welcoming, courteous and helpful customer service from "FERN", in particular - and so, we have... Our room was clean. The queen beds were comfy and the curtains darkened the room beautifully. We were traveling north on 81 and thought Winchester would be a good place to stop. We chose Sleep Inn because of the good reviews and competitive prices. We made reservations and were glad we did.

It's still a quiet, clean place to stay. Breakfast is above average. The closets had not hangers in them at all, not even one. We had two rooms. One was about 60 degrees when we checked in, the other was probably 85. It shouldn't have been that hard to correct both of these issues. “Comfortable, clean and quiet.” “Clean, inviting, great value.” We stayed at 5 different hotels in our two week family trip and this was the best of them. Good breakfast in a good space. Next trip will be Sleep Inn hotels only. I stayed here overnight on my trip to Pa. I chose this place because of the cheap price, and I didn't want to travel on I-81 the next day.

Room: I remember that it had a separate counter outside of the bathroom that had a sink and an oven burner. There was also a table with some chairs in this... They let me check out a little later, and even provided a free water bottle. The beds are very comfortable, and the TV large. I really liked the large bathroom, and high ceilings. Our family just spent 3 nights at this hotel. It was a very good value for the price. The hotel is convenient, well-maintained, clean, and the staff is very friendly. Lots of food options within walking distance as well as a movie theater right next door. The rooms include a mini fridge and microwave, which is handy.
