They rooms are great as well as the bathrooms. Waking up to a fried breakfast and fruit was lovely! The meals were very... Masking guests feel at home is our pleasure. Africa is a new experience for many guests so we see it as our role to create a comfortable, safe, homely environment. When we achieve that as well as organising tours and safaris to suit our guests we share the happiness. Very pleased and thank you for your response. this is an excellent starting point for exploring Kenya; especially since the owner Trevor is very knowledgeable and able to organize almost any safari experience you could possibly be looking for. Rooms are OK, but not entirely up to modern standards, especially the bathrooms. Location is rather problematic in a shabby area that can make you feel a bit insecure.... I am glad you enjoyed the meals and safari. We pride ourselves in looking after safari planning and management and the hospitality in the hotel. Unfortunately there has been construction work going on nearby but this is coming to an end and does not reflect upon security in the area.
Modernisation of our rooms was delayed due to the problems... the first time I have been badly mislead by a trip advisor review The supposed Hotel has no menus, no amenities, located in squalid surrounding area close to a main road with 24 hour traffic passing noisily by and to add insult to injury the owner requested me not to write a negative review having charged me 100 euro per... I fail to understand this response since the only guest I have had from Ireland this year was a guy who had lived all of his childhood in Kenya leaving in the 1960's. He left us a copy of film made in the early days in colonial Kenya, he was friendly with the staff and had meals prepared to his... Kikuyu Lodge sent a driver to pick us, two females, in the pouring rain from Jomo Kenyatta airport. Plane was circling due to weather and landed late, but the driver waited for us to get off the plane, go through thermal body scan that measured our temperature one by one, buy visas, collect luggage.
Francis stood there with the sign... Thank you for an extensive and detailed review. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. The guest house was great. Clean rooms and good food, if you wish typical kenyan food. The manager Trevor is doing a great job. He is organising everything for you like Safaris to where you want like Masai Mara or Hell's Gate and also day trips to Nairobi or the Elephant Orphanage. Foot Soaking Tub WalmartIf you request also your clothes get washed...Big Cat Diary Toto Dies We know that your holiday is a special time and genuinely want you to have the best experience of Kenya. Blinds Brackets LowesThere is a lot of negative about the country in the media but these problems are isolated to specific areas.
It is a joy to know that people are still coming and finding the wildlife parks, scenery and people have... I came out to Kenya for a month to volenteer in Machakos, a fair distance from Nairobi airport. so throughout my time a fair bit of travelling needed to be done. We were given Trevor's contact details, the owner of Kikuyu Lodge, for help during our time in Kenya. I couldn't of asked for a better person to help myself... It is always a pleasure for us to assist volunteers who come to work with children's homes, schools or hospitals here in Africa . It is a wonderful thing that people care and give their time and finance their trip, so we in turn do our best to get a wildlife safari organise at a reasonable price as a thank... As a group of 7 girls, aged 20, we were nervous about booking a hotel in nairobi as well as a safari for the end of our month volunteering. After contacting the hotel owner, Trevor, he could not have been more helpful! After organising our weekend safari we couldn't of had a better time with lovely hotels and good value...
We thank you for your review and also the good work you did whilst in Kenya. It is a pleasure to organise travel for people who have a genuine interest in the country and its people as well as the wildlife and scenery, glad you enjoyed the gamepark safari. A joy to have you here and thank you for considering... Trevor was a great help in planning our trip to Kenya - thanks again! He answered numerous questions I had over several months of planning and organised an incredible safari out to the Masai Mara (highly recommend) as well as sorting out a hire car that we needed for a few days - even lending us his GPS! As always we are so please when people enjoy both their stay with us and the safari itinerary we prepare and organise for them. It is a real pleasure to find out in advance what peoples interests are and what they would like to see of this beautiful country. On the traffic issue we are awaiting the opening of the...
