Lynn and Aled are the most fabulous hosts nothing was too much trouble very friendly and when our car broke down did everything within their power to help.

Food was excellent offering a vast choice including fresh fruit the breakfasts were cooked to perfection... Had a fantastic stay at Melyn-y-Gors, Lynn and Aled were very attentive and could not do enough for me, the bed to sleep in was like heaven, just as good as my Eve Mattress at home, the food was out of this world. It was a really brilliant place to stay, lovely and quiet and well out of the way.... Visited with family for lunch all dishes were great taste and great value for money. One of our party had quite demanding dietry requirements which were perfectly catered for. I had the Cawl traditional lamb broth with pieces of cheese and a bread roll delicouse. They also serve lovely omlettes, paninis and yummy cakes all made fresh to order and... “Great place for a rest when out walking,cycling etc” Melvyn y Gors is quickly becoming my home from home. Set in the peaceful, beautiful bay of Cwmtydu near New Quay, you can't help but feel relaxed as soon as you arrive.

Lynn and Aled are just the best hosts. They have a sign in the cafe that says 'Arrive as strangers, leave as friends' and they do everything they... Visited here several times nice atmosphere great hosts lovely cream tea coffees etc and a stunning location. Great beach and cove regularly see seals here. (Have not stayed here as we live local, just reviewing the cafe.) A beautiful peaceful location surrounded by breath taking scenery. The room was spotless and facilities excellent. Lynn and Aled are excellent hosts with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast can be tailored to anyone's needs and there is plenty of variety. Newquay is only a short distance away or Cwmtydu beach a few strides from the door with the chance to... What a lovely place the B&B is situated in a little cove very quiet and peaceful the perfect place to get away from it all. Lynn and Aled are the perfect hosts nothing is to much trouble for them. The rooms are lovely, spotlessly clean, excellent en suite facilities, plenty of tea and coffee and a TV perfect.

Great place lovely room,great food and great people, Lovely walks close by and if your lucky seal pups on the beach. Great views and walks to Llangranog and Newquay or further. Woods to the east and coast to the west with spectacular water falls. After a very stressful and upsetting few weeks we were desperate for a relaxing peaceful break for a few nights. I found this haven of peace quite by chance. It's true what they say " everything happens for a reason" I called a couple of days before our arrival to check the booking to be greeted on the end of... We booked the night before for two nights stay. Arriving late we got a warm welcome from Lynn and soon settled in to the ground floor room which is of a good size with a king size bed. We know Cwmtydu well we have been many times but never before stopped at Melyn-y-Gors and the beach is lovely with good...
