Characterised by large detached homes, the average price of a house here is £1,989,049. Beach House, below, sold for £4,820,000 in 2014. In South Gloucestershire, Whiteshill, in Hambrook, BS16, takes the number three spot, with properties valued at an average of £1,914,385. There are some large homes set back from the road here, and some overlooking the village cricket ground.

At number four is The Ridgeway, Westbury-on-Trym, BS10, pictured below, where the average value of property is £1,561,654, and at number five is Cadbury Camp Lane, which runs through a wood in Clapton-in-Gordano, BS20, and has an average price of £1,549,840. Harris Lane, in the North Somerset area of Abbots Leigh, BS8, comes in sixth, with an average value of £1,534,861, while Elberton in Olveston, South Gloucestershire, BS35, takes seventh spot at £1,526,290. The remaining three most expensive streets to buy in and around Bristol are all in Stoke Bishop, with a BS9 postcode.
