NOTE: pay attention to the way the bulb was sitting in the housing! it will help you put the next bulb in.5. replace the bulb with new one. wear gloves when you do this, any oil from your hands will create a hot-spot later when you turn the bulb on.6. swing the retaining clip back over the bulb, press it down, and slide it back to the holding position. again, you may have to lean over the car to see what you're doing.7. replace the rubber grommit.

it doesn't have to be new.8. reconnect the wire harness.9. repeat steps for other headlight.

Fits years: 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 All Honda Prelude Headlights for sale Clip Removal Tool (or flathead screwdriver) Step 2: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (5) that line the UNDERSIDE of the front bumper cover. Step 3: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2, 1 per side) inside each wheel well. These screws are located where the bumper cover meets the quarter panel. Step 4: Pry and remove the retaining clips (4) that secures the front bumper cover to the radiator grille area. Step 5: Pry and remove the retaining clip (1) that is BEHIND the radiator grille area. Step 6: You can now remove the front grille. Step 7: Pry and remove the retaining clips (5) exposed by removing the front radiator grille. Step 8: You can now remove the front bumper cover. Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2) from the INSIDE of the front bumper cover. Step 9: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (3) that secure the headlight assembly to the vehicle.

Step 10: Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the BACK of the headlight assembly. Step 11: Connect the wiring harness (1) to the new headlight assembly. Step 12: Mount the headlight by tightening the 10mm bolts (3). Step 13: Reattach the front bumper cover and radiator grille.Be sure to tighten all bolts and screws.
