Very poor OEM quality control. Home Depot did reorder 8 new chains and gear mechanisms. Even then the installer had to use some of the old and new chains to get enough of the same length. The installer came out originally and then a second time to correct the chain lengths. The primary reason we picked Coolaroo is because they had a color that matched our siding and the installer did say that their attaching mechanism was much better suited for our outdoor application than the competition. The installer did fix the blinds the second time and they all work, but because of all the issues I rated this experience as average. The process to obtain an "estimate" is terrible, as they can't provide you with any information except a real quote, requiring 45 min - 1 hour of questions. My rep. used my "estimate" based on no measurements [how can they because they require you to have their installer measure your windows, so no one can provide exact measurements] but she used my best guess measurements as a guide.

Then when it came to actually getting a final price those best guess decisions were carried over to my final quote, requiring me to comb thru the convoluted internal documents and catch things that were from my best guess vs. real measurements. After we got through the very challenging process of reading the documents [their quote system] which is NOT user friendly and several changes and updates, my blinds were finally ordered. The installers were fantastic and so fast. My sales rep was super nice but the Home Depot process to place an order for these fabric covered plantation style blinds was very challenging. Their paperwork is not user friendly to the customer. But in the end the blinds are beautiful and the installers were fabulous. My Home Depot sales rep. Lecia was very kind and helpful and patient with the ordering system. very happy with install process from ordering then coming to my house to measure and finally to install my blinds, I am very satisfied with everything

Very professional and timely. From ordering through installation, we were very satisfied. We are happy with the product and pleased with how the vertical blinds look in our family room.But product quality isn't good though We have ordered Bali blinds through Home Depot after enquiring about the quality and performance. However, during installation we found that all of our wood blinds have an issue with hitting the wand when the slats are pulled up from the bottom. This is sub-par product/installation. We are supposed to get an answer from Prestige installation about this and they haven't contacted me forever. So I had to escalate the issue with Home Depot, who should take care of our situation. But they didn't yet do that. I am worried about the wands breaking after so many attempts to pull up the slats. Would sincerely appreciate if you guys can address this concern on high priority basis.
