This year, we are offering an international trip to Chile to raft one of the world's premier whitewater rafting rivers, the Rio Futaleufu. Located in northern Patagonia, Chile - the Rio Futaleufu winds its way through lush rainforests and is corralled only by sleek granite cliffs. The continuous Class IV-V rapids offer an exciting and gripping experience. Enjoy this Patagonian Adventure of a Lifetime You'll want to experience as much as possible on this week-long trip; that's why we will be mixing up the rafting with inflatable kayaking trips, horseback riding, and canyoning or hiking in the Andes. Each adventurous day is followed by relaxation and pampering at our luxury riverside camp and spa. Entry into Esquel, Argentina, is a breathtaking drive over the Andes Mountain Range to Futaleufu, Chile. Once you are settled in, you will meet your rafting guides who will prepare you for the week's adventures.Day 2Bridge to Bridge, Class III-IV+These rapids are big and exciting, but consider today a warm­up for the whitewater to come. After rafting, we will return to base camp where the activity options include: kayak on the lake, relax in the hot tub, trek to the top of nearby ridges, or simply enjoy appetizers and drinks at our riverside bar.Day 3 Hike and Float Upper FutaleufuThis morning will be spent trekking through an awe-inspiring nature preserve along the Upper Futaleufu River.

Later, we'll paddle inflatable kayaks back down to our riverside camp. Your night is spent dining on exquisite food and relaxing in our spa.Day 4 Horseback Ride with Local "Huasos" (Chilean Cowboys)On this day, cool­-tempered horses lead you through the breathtaking hills and valleys of Futaleufu. Canyoning is the hybrid of water sports and mountain climbing. Day six will be full of rappelling down waterfalls, leaping into turquoise pools, zooming down water slides, and crawling through tiny caverns. After canyoning, you'll spend the afternoon kayaking down the Espolon, a stunning tributary of the Futaleufu.Day 7 ­Rafting the Futaleufu River, Pasarella to Casa de Empanadas, Class III­-VYour adventurous week will surely close with a bang!
