The staff at Shoji were especially accommodating, and the facilities at the Retreat/Spa are absolutely lovely! I have been in many spas but never in a 'Japanese' style. I was amazed about their hospitality and their menu of offerings. I enjoyed the 1 hour exclusive spa and the 1 1/2 hour massage... I did not want to leave!!! If you are into 'Spa's' this is a place you should definitely have on your bucket list! We recently went here for massages and a one hour soak in our own private hot tubs. They also offer cold showers and a cold plunge after your hot tub experience. The private hot tub areas were beautiful with nothing around you but trees and the massages were excellent. I Enjoyed The Spa, hot tub and massage which I found on goggle, well worth the drive and experience. Having spent the week in Asheville hiking, biking, paddling, and forever walking, our bodies were tired. We stumbled across a flyer for Shoji while walking near Grove Arcade in Asheville.
