Easy to set up, easy to use and even has a dial on the product to remind you when to change the filter. Not very heavy and not very loud (you would expect some noise but this thing is so quiet I forget I have it on) The air purifier comes with three speeds, at first I used the highest speed which is 3 (just finished smoking up my house grilling burgers on the stovetop) and instantaneously I felt a difference in the air and then no more smoke, just fresh, crisp air. I always have to open the windows and doors just to get that effect. Next I decided to run the air filter though the night to see how my allergies would be in the morning, my allergies in late summer/early fall are horrendous and this took care of my morning sneezing fits. so far, so good. But oh boy, due to a huge fire east of us, due to odd wind currents, the smoke was settling in our little town and impossible to keep out of the indoor air. I ordered this item for the living and dining rooms and paid about 5.00 extra for faster shipping and it not only got here quicker than estimated, it was in perfect condition right out of the box and the On-Trac or On-Star (not sure of exact carrier name) delivery man was very courteous and handled the item with such care! Within one hour the stuffy noses and headaches were gone and we were breathing healthier air with no smoke smell. I like that the filters may have a 4 month life span. I would not recommend this for a bedroom as it is, even on the lowest setting, much noisier than the Holmes mini-tower. Had Hunter air cleaners for years and they just recently wore out. Units appear to be a quality build. Hopefully, that will be a testimate to how long they last. Slim and indiscreet in the corner. Have noticed a difference in the amount of dust in the rooms where units are located, as well as air quality. Where does all that dust come from anyway? Husband and I both seem to wake up breathing easier. Three fan levels with 1 being almost unnoticeable. Keep bedroom on 2 to sleep using like a white noise machine. Overall very happy with purchase. I have this unit in my bedroom, and have noticed some noticeable differences in the quality of the air; it also helps keep the room warm since it gives off heat. I have slept and seem to be having less breathing issue since using it, after it uses a HEPA-type filter, which removes up to 99% of airborne participles. The filter is easy to remove and install. The noise level of the unit is not an issue too, since it runs fairly quietly. I have it running all night and it doesn't affect me nor does it keep me awake. I have to mention the packaging of this product, someone really took care and time to make it super simple to unpackage and start using. I haven't had a purifier for years, turned off by my horrible experience with hunter. This one is exceptionally quiet, even on the high speed.
