This is the real deal and made here in the US not a cheap chinese POS. Love it, but there was a class action lawsuit that stated it does not have the quoted horsepower because the proper instruments weren't used during the manufacturing process. So quiet, so strong. Hope this mixer lasts a lifetime!!! We put it through its paces, using it every day for "in home" professional bakery!!
