Come by and find the perfect pet! /mars-petcare-will-pay-anim…/Mars Petcare will pay animal adoption fees at three local shelters - Franklin Home PageWilliamson County Animal CenterDid you know? All of the animals that are adopted here get spayed or neutered before they go home? Last year, Dr. Burch and her team performed almost 3,000 spay/neuter surgeries - YES, THREE THOUSAND! That is a lot of surgeries to prevent thousands of unwanted pets each year! We also offer Spay and Neuter clinics for residents that may not be able to afford the procedure otherwise - Please call us if you think you may qualify! Not only does our vet staff perform thousands of... surgeries each year, but they also care for those animals that get sick during their stay here. That might include treating Upper Respiratory infections, all the way to invasive, life-saving surgeries! In the vet clinic, there are several things that we are in need of right now. Our vet staff is currently looking for donations or new or used humidifiers and heated blankets.

Have any in your home you don't use anymore? We will take them! These donations will benefit the may animals that come through Dr. Burch's clinic! Williamson County Animal CenterIt's Woman Crush Wednesday and we have one special lady to share with you: A good samaritan brought a dog to us in June that she witnessed getting hit by a car. Unfortunately, she had a fractured jaw and a broken foot. We named this darling girl "Mae". Thanks to our vet staff, specifically Dr. Debra Burch, Mae was stitched and splinted up, but we were in desperate need of a foster. Thankfully, we have an amazing volunteer named Laura who jumped at the chance of providing Mae ...a peaceful environment to recoup. In Laura's home, Mae spent some time with fur sibling Cadence. They played and romped and got along beautifully. Mae is a 6 month old lab/shepherd mix that is healthy enough to pounce into your life! Foster mom Laura says "Mae is very curious and loves to get into things. She is a little spider monkey and will jump or climb on anything.

She also can calm down and likes to lay in my lap and chew on a toy. She is very fast and since she's so small she can slip around any obstacle. She hasn't ever met a dog that she didn't like, but she is very much a puppy! Like any young pup, she doesn't sniff or get to know a new dog, she just runs straight for them and immediately wants them to be her best friend. She is very happy and affectionate. She has not made any attempt to get over or under my chain link fence. She is also crate trained and hasn't made any messes in the house, but she isn't ever loose and unattended inside for any great length of time. She's really good at pottying outside as soon as you ask her to! She is my little champ and I am so proud to help her on her path of health and forever home!" Do you think Mae will make a great addition to your family? Come meet her today - we are open until 6pm! # # # Posted by Williamson County Animal CenterThere is always time to fit in a little cat nap!Williamson County Animal CenterUPDATE: SHE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
