Our goals include the following: To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need. To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals. To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation. To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation. To find good homes for the animals in our care. Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home.

Raleigh is with his new owners and will be going to finish his heartworm treatment next week! (Anyone heading it Nashville who could drop Raleigh off at his new owners? The rescue wants to get him out to give us room...it will be off Rosa Parks...)
Friends of Lebanon AnimalsRaleigh has been with us for 3 months. He is heartworm positive. He has two rescuers who will work to place him and a foster who is willing to care for him as he begins heartworm treatment and until his forever family is found. However, the cost for treating Raleigh is not cheap and the rescuers are small one-person rescues with budgets that would be greatly stretched to cover treatment. We have $75 pledged to help him, but could use another $150 to cover all vetting and heartworm treatment. We are NOT a 501c3, but would anyone be willing to help contribute towards his treatment and vetting? ANY amount would be so appreciated!
