Thank you for your support!: Universal Wishlist for Friends of Exeter Animals.Friends of the Exeter AnimalsNick is a big cat who, plainly speaking, just hates being in his cage at the Exeter Animal Shelter. He is like royalty when free to roam the shelter. Nick particularly likes computer work! Unfortunately the "cat playroom" doubles as a kitten nursery and is off limits to cats during kitten season (now). Maybe you need computer "help" or have a sunny spot for 8 year old Nick. He won't ask for more.

By the time he was rescued by Exeter Animal Control he was very emaciated and near death. Onyx has made a remarkable recovery and is anxious to be in a friendly home. Onyx was abandoned with another dog, lovely Mya, who could be adopted with him.
He is a big boy so the staff at the Exeter Animal Shelter recommend, unless he is adopted with Mya, he should be an only dog with no small children. If interested please stop by or contact the shelter at 401-294-2754. They are located at 169 South County Trail. Teddy has been ADOPTED and left the shelter!! His new Mom & Dad only like to adopt senior dogs with special needs and they fell in love with Teddy as soon as they met him. He will be living like a King now just as he deserves!! The shelter staff wants to thank you all for sharing his post/pics and for those who offered him a home. They felt he would be happy and content with his new mom & Dad in a quiet and loving home. He took to them right away as if it was meant to be....he may have also heard they cook meals for their senior pups!
We wish them a long and happy life together. We will post pics that his mom sends to us to update you on how he's doing. Teddy is a lucky guy!!Friends of the Exeter Animals added 2 new photos.**** ADOPTED **** Teddy needs a special home! Back in June, Friends of Exeter Animals was seeking a loving hospice home for Teddy who is currently at the Exet...er Animal Shelter. We had lots of interest and two households were actually approved. However, changes in their personal lives prevented Teddy, through no fault of his, from being adopted. Teddy is a senior Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix who was recently diagnosed with several medical issues. However, right now he is totally enjoying his life and loves short walks. He is a great little eater and loves snacks! Our group will cover his adoption fee, supply his food and any medical care. Teddy needs a loving, quiet home with no children. He's a friendly boy but we want him to feel secure and loved. Teddy would love a soft bed to cozy up in and someone with a kind heart to offer him time and affection.
Oh, how happy he would be! Please stop by the Exeter Animal Shelter, 169 South County Trail, and meet him and talk to a staff person. PLEASE SHARE to help Teddy. She is about 8 years old and has been at the Exeter Animal Shelter only since June. Momma is an easy going girl but after living in a home environment she must find her new life at the shelter a monumental change.
We really want to see her adopted into a loving home as soon as possible. Momma is friendly and craves your attention. She likes her head scratched and to be given treats. Maybe you have room in your home for Momma. Please share to help Momma.
