On a family trip to Flint, I did a little research and saw great reviews for the planetarium kids show (Accidental Astronauts), so we went.

I'm glad we did. The staff is friendly, the planetarium was clean and the show was perfect for my 5 year old. Make sure you stay for the roller coaster show after the main feature.... The planetarium is impressive...state of the art facility. We had a group of 48 students and staff. They showed the show "Stars" narrated by Mark Hamil. It was very cool. great, you gotta see it. and its in the cultural center. more than just that to see. easy access, and plenty of parking. I know the planetarium has wonderful programs on a regular basis, but Monday, May 9, 2016 they went above and beyond. My friend and I went because we read that they would have telescopes with filters to view the transit of Mercury across the sun. Not many people took advantage so we were treated to personal service. I don't know how often they do it but they have some kickass laser light shows. If you can see one you might like it Laser Doors Beatles and many other's Incredible films in super modern environment.

Very comfortable reclining seats with masses of leg room. Really worth a visit for all age groups, don't pass this little treasure by. We will certainly be regulars. This Planetarium just had a huge update and it is one of the finest in nation. It is educating and entertaining for family members of all ages. They often feature popular music laser shows. It's been years since I had been to the Planetarium so when I went with my 6 year old grandson I wasn't expecting much. Since I had last gone, the Planetarium has spent money to renovate the facility and it looks great (clean and inviting). The seats were very comfortable. Watching my grandson when the dome turned and when the...
