New LED Lights - LED Replacements for Halogen Bulbs Now you can replace your halogen G4, G9 and BA15S lamps with energy efficient LED light We've waited a long time for factories to produce LED replacements for halogen bulbs which were not over-sized, provided an omnidirectional light spread, and provided enough lumens for the task at hand. In stock now, LED G4, G9 and BA15S replacement bulbs. You'll typically find this kind of halogen bulb in a puck light or a reading lamp. Halogen bulbs provide a great light output, but they can be tricky for a number of reasons. First of all, they tend to burn hot and do not have such a great life span. You have to use care not to touch the bulb as oil from your fingers can cause a halogen bulb to have an even shorter life span or burn out immediately, or even melt. You have no such worries with LED replacement bulbs. We have three types in stock: Shown above from left to right - BA15S LED Bulb - This is a bayonet single contact base which twists and locks into place.

It is a 12 V LED bulb, not dimmable, and is not not for use in totally enclosed fixtures. Use our LED BA15S in dry locations only. It is a T3 replacement. JC/G4 LED Bulb - This is a two pin G4 base. It is a 12 V LED bulb, not dimmable, and not for use in totally enclosed fixtures. Use our LED JC/G4 bulbs in dry locations only. G9 LED Bulb - This is a two pin G9 base. It is a 120VAC input LED bulb, it is dimmable. It is not for use in totally enclosed fixtures. Use in dry locations only. It is a T4 replacement. How to make sure these LED halogen bulbs replacements will fit your fixture: Your bulb should be clearly marked, but if it isn't: First determine the voltage. Our BA15S and G4 bulbs operate at 12V. There are halogen bulbs out there at 24 and 48 volts, so be sure yours is 12V before you proceed. Warranty does not cover burning out a 12V bulb by applying 24 or 48 volts to it. Our G9 bulbs are 120VAC only. Next, measure the distance between the pins. Be precise, as there are all kinds of halogen bulbs out there with different spacing.

A bit wider or a bit smaller, and these bulbs will simply not fit. There are also halogen bulbs with looped pins. Our LED replacement bulbs will not fit in this type of socket. If your measurement is 4 millimeters between pins, that means you have a G4 base bulb. If your measurement is 9 millimeters, you have a G9 base bulb, which only comes in 120 volts.Hot Tub Jet Bruise If your measurement is just a hair wider than 6 millimeters, you have a bulb with a G6.35 base, which comes in 12, 24, or 120 volts.
