To educate animal control officers and shelter staff on how to identify the Miniature Pinscher and the special requirements and characteristics of the breed to aid in proper evaluation and placement. AMPS, INC. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization recognized by the IRS and registered in the State of New Hampshire comprised exclusively of volunteers. Our volunteers agree to abide by the guidelines as set forth by the Directors of AMPS.They are evaluated by a veterinarian for common health issues, are given required medical care, spayed or neutered and microchipped.A follow up visit may be scheduled at a future date to ensure that everything is working out well for the dog as well as the family.We spend quite a bit of time assessing the needs of these dogs and our requirements are generally non-negotiable.
