Mini Blinds On Tension Rod

Simple Fit Pop-In Cellular Shade: Light Filtering Simple Fit Pop-In Cellular Shade: Blackout Opaque / Blackout (1) customer reviews for simple fit from West Greenwich, RIWe feel it was well worth the extra cost to get quality. No cords, no gizmos to get in the way. Smooth handling up & down. Installation was ridiculously simple. Our main window is 65" wide & there was no need for a middle support bracket (sweet). Thin profile & tight fit helps these blinds blend nicely with our window trim. Shades do a nice job of blocking the harsh sun in wintertime without any gaps or peek-boo-holes. This is a great value for the money! I put it on an odd size window I have in my office and fits perfectly. I was under the impression that it was solid white all the way around. They're exactly what we ordered and expected. These are not regular tension rods where you twist to tighten. Instead, there is a screw system. Once I checked youtube on how to hang these, works great. A little tough to tighten the rod by yourself. First, I get that I didn't pay much for this item so yes, you get what you pay for but this rod is not very sturdy at all. I mean, they do the trick, but I noticed they bend quite a bit when trying to wedge them in place. This is because the sliding mechanism for the two pieces is actually terrible.

They are pretty worthless. I bought two, and both of them don't support the weight of a fairly light curtain. This tension rod is the opposite of tension. The first one I ordered came so unusable it was returned, but I foolishly got it replaced thinking it was a one-off thing. See and discover other items: stick diffusersHanging Blinds on Tension Rods Hanging blinds normally involves mounting rods on your window frames with screws or bolts. If you want to enjoy your blinds without putting holes in the window frames, you can opt for spring tension rods instead. These rods are held in place by an adjustable spring, and they can be taken up and down without leaving any marks or holes on the window frame. That makes them a good choice for apartment dwellers and others who do not want to risk damaging the window frames when hanging their blinds. Measure the length and width of the window from one side of the inside window frame to the other. Purchase a set of blinds in the proper length and width for each window.

Choose blinds that work well with the existing decor. Choose a spring tension curtain rod that adjusts to the proper size for your window. The advantage of spring tension rods is that they are adjustable by size, and you can adjust them to fit into your window frame. Lay the spring tension rod down on the table. Place the blinds flat on the table as well. Insert the rod through the hole in the top of the blinds and run it through.

They are cheap and totally removable. They are great for those awkward areas where nothing else fits, and don’t do any damage to walls, closets or cabinets. Some of their uses are obvious, but there are others you might not have ever considered... 1. Here’s the obvious one you already know: use tension rods for temporary window treatments you can take with you when you move. Put tension rods on the top and bottom of the curtain (as in lead photo above from Kelly Hicks Design) if you want more privacy and a more modern, streamlined look.
