She is a very loving and affectionate girl with her family and friends but can is unsure and aloof with strangers. Therefore we are looking for a quiet home for Ziva where she doesn't have to be a social butterfly. She mixes well with other dogs and gains confidence with other dogs but she has lived without other dogs too. She will not cope in a busy environment. We feel she could be a Shepherd cross as her personality and behaviour is very similar to the breed. She will bark if someone comes to the door and will be suspicious of them if they are not a regular visitor but is extremely loving with those that she knows.

She will make someone a very loyal companion. A family member took Ziva on for a short while but unfortunately they found the environment in their household too busy for her and Ziva found it too stressful. He obviously has a lot of lab in him as he likes to carry stuff around...his toys, his bedding, even a stainless steel food bowl (just like his namesake he really does ask for more!). He loves his lady friend that he shares with and they often have a good play. He is very strong on the lead but we are working on halti training to help with this. By Phone: 07896 041561 Tilly is a pretty, spayed, nearly four year old girl who is tall but slender ( 25-26kgs). She started off life on the streets of Greece but was rescued as a puppy. She has been in the UK for a long time in foster homes but hasn't been fortunate enough to find her own forever home. Tilly (like many rescue dogs) can be worried by some new people initially but once she knows you she will be your friend. Tilly is great company, very affectionate, loves cuddles & fuss, walks nicely on the lead either on her own or with other dogs. She has good recall and travels well in the car. She is crate trained. She has regular visits from older children who are dog savvy and she enjoys their company. She has spent time around horses and cats. She is experienced in a busy environment such as county shows and is also a seasoned camper! She has the potential to learn dogs sports, obedience and anything else that will keep her busy as she is highly intelligent and sensitive.

She needs kind leadership and firm but loving boundaries. A quiet, experienced home is sought, either with an easy going , preferably large and playful male dog or with no other dogs , who is willing to stick with Tilly for the long term and work with her to overcome her remaining fears. She is a confident and out going girl. Certainly not the sensitive, timid type. I think she is the sort of dog that would protect her family in the unlikely event she should ever need too.

She is also confident with other dogs. She is a strong character though and likes to be top dog. She shares her kennel with a bouncy, adolescent, male dog and she has taught him to be respectful of other dogs and not to jump all over them! Despite her bossy nature she doesn't mind sharing treats, food etc with her kennel buddy. She loves her walks and can be strong on the lead (like most of our big dogs). SORBETSETTERAPPROX 2-3 YR OLD FEMALE SPAYED A small petite setter type, quite bouncy which is typical of this type of dog, she will need a very active home to keep her stimulated.
