Also, if you can read japanese, check out Nagoyafurniture Basically, you can get almost everything you need in Nitori for a good price, but here are a few options that might be worth looking at Worth going at least once for a tourism experience! Don Quixote seems to sell everything- food, drinks, lamps, gifts, board games, cups, plates, stationery, unusual toys (for children and adults!), stereos, shoes, furniture, beds, petfood, hardware, sports equipment, bicycles, costumes and many more odd things.

Going there at the weekend is a typically Japanese shopping experience- hundreds of people crammed into tight shopping aisles. They have a few shops, but the most central is 3 mins walk from JR Otobashi, or you could walk 10 mins from Kanayama. A very colourful store. Has toiletries, smaller household items, toys, board games, gifts, stationery and some costumes. Items are very stylish, but quite expensive. A huge, inexpensive store selling many household goods, electrical items, bicycles and much more. With 6 stores, including Kanayama and Imaike. As an added bonus, they often contain 100 yen shops inside. As the name suggests, they sell futons (as well as pillows, bed covers, duvets). They have very good prices. The most convenient location is aboyt 10 mins walk from Ozone station, or 3 mins walk from Meitetsu Morishita.Has a lot of smaller household items, but also some furniture. Big stores located in North Sakae and also inside Takashimaya JR Nagoya. Products are stylish and high quality, but quite pricy.

This is the place for stylish (and more expensive) household goods and furnishings. In the South Building there are various shops to chose from. No relation to the barbarian, this large store sells all kinds of things for the house at low prices. Just 5 mins from Chayagaska subway station (purple line). There is a massive sports depo upstairs as well. 100 yen shops are Japan’s most convenient and cheapest shops! They have pens, stationary, kitchen-ware, table-ware, cleaning products, bathroom supplies, tinned foods, dry foods, chocolates, toys, some small clothes, towels, lightbulbs, batteries, basic clocks and computer items, paper, and many many more useful items. Everything costs just 100yen (well, actually 105yen when you add the tax). Nothing to do with calcio, these stores have a good range and quality of products, and many locations. South east of the station. Part of the Lawson convenience store chain. The stores are smaller and have less bigger items but more foods.
