Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions is collecting new and gently worn shoes that will be cleaned and repaired and sent to developing nations such as Haiti, Pakistan, Honduras, and many others. Families with no other means of income or livelihood will sell the shoes to provide food and clothing. Our shelter will receive money based on the number of pairs of shoes we collect. Virtual Adoptions at Lifelong Friends Has a photo of a particular dog or cat tugged on your heartstrings? Would you like to get to know that animal a little better and contribute to his or her care here at the shelter?
For a small monthly donation you can virtually adopt that animal! We will send you an information package with a photo of the pet, how they came to live at the shelter, their birthday, and what they like to do during the day.  Once or twice a year we will also send out an update on the pet.  You can come down to the shelter to meet the pet and get your photo taken with him or her, or bring them a special toy or blanket or some treats.  If the pet finds its forever home we will notify you right away so you may transfer your donation to another pet at the shelter.  To get started just select a dog or cat, choose the sponsorship level, and click on the Sponsorship button on the animal’s profile page.
