Pay is decent for the Daytona area and the ability to make extra from incentives was always there. Cons The company itself went through too many changes due to financial woes. Senior management was unable to pull the company out of the fire. Advice to Management Don't expect your hourly employees to keep the company afloat. Hire a marketing company that knows what they're doing to produce sales and bring in new business. Jul 11, 2016 I worked at Premier Care in Bathing full-time (More than a year) Pros It used to be a good company, before it was taken over by Blackstreet Capital. Cons The BBB rating says it all. May 21, 2016 I have been working at Premier Care in Bathing full-time (Less than a year) Pros Courteous staff, job accommodates with real life emergencies and the satisfaction of helping people in need.
Weekly pay, when bonuses do come back, you'll love it. Cons Going through some changes right now. So no bonuses, strictly hourly. Not a livable salary whatsoever. Due to these changes, the company has to be very strict right now in regards to efficiencies such as talk time, not ready time and breaks. Advice to Management Stay strong through the changes and hope for the best. The community relies on everyone sharing – Add Anonymous Review May 14, 2016 I worked at Premier Care in Bathing full-time (More than 3 years) Pros Interesting customers, great co-workers and installers, their products prevent injuries and help people stay in their own home and remain independent. Cons Long drives, very little control of your schedule. The company kept promising to improve marketing and set more appointments but never came through. Advice to Management Do do more marketing. Do stop pricing yourself out of the market. Organize appointments to minimize time wasted in predictable traffic jams, and let employees have work life balance.
Feb 13, 2016 Pros good bonuses and great product Cons office support personnel not friendly to consultants Advice to Management give full day of appointments on days workef Nov 16, 2015 I worked at Premier Care in Bathing full-time Pros Dependable payroll, proactive with Morale based activities. Very good with its customers. Cons Claims it wants to be pro-active in updating process and proceedures. However, when faced with suggestions it is shut down. Very antiquated in this manner. Does not always hire the right qualified employee (Example: 2 new hires were unable to copy and paste for a position that is VERY computer driven). Advice to Management Work smarter not harder! Aug 11, 2015 Helpful (2) Pros The people that you work with are very nice and helpful. Cons Run fast if you are applying for the customer advisor rep position. Believe nothing of what the hiring lady with the accent tells you, she sold me on the most of the reps make $14 - $18 dollars an hr. But what she does not tell you is that they make that money possibly once every two months, your main job is to just cold call outbound off off very old leads like 2009.
Even if you get an appointment it's not guaranteed that your will actually get the $25 bonus until the outside sells person closes the deal. And what's worse the training is a complete joke. They put you on the floor with headsets that barely work, and then sometimes there are not even enough headsets with chargers so you could possibly be limited on how you do your job! The call center is set up like a cotton plantation from the 1900's slavering days. Aquatic Tub And Shower Repair KitThere are a lot of supervisors and leads that walk around a lot and concentrate hard on cracking the whip instead of ensuring that the calls your are doing present "Quality" not "quantity". Moen Bathroom Faucet Hard To TurnI could possibly have made a few extra appointments if the scheduling department would answer faster. Homes For Sale Ethridge Tn
This place just wants numbers, it's a joke absolutely but if u need a few extra dollars then it works as a stepping stone. They may be the invention of the walk in tub and the doors with the shower, but they won't be for long with there bad marketing and horrible redialing of the same poor elderly people over and over again. Run like hell Advice to Management Listen to your employees, they are very loyal and some of them are very smart very highly trained better than some of your supervisors and floor walkers. The CEO and COO upper level management should also not discipline your supervisors and H.R. Employees are the company or maybe you feel that it's just a seat being heated for your call volume. Your call center statistics need to be realistic realigned. The calls need to be monitored closely to ensure they are being disposition correctly and called back at the right time. You also need to provide additional Information on how to deal with irate Canadians . If you don't listen your competitors will and you will be left in the dust.
May 21, 2015 I have been working at Premier Care in Bathing full-time Pros Getting to help people bathe safelyOpportunity for more income through spiffs Cons Its more like telemarketing, but you're supposed to be calling people who had called first.Advice to Management When information or policies are changed everyone should be made aware. Jan 10, 2015 I worked at Premier Care in Bathing full-time (More than a year) Pros It's a job. That is about it. They do offer some bonuses and spiff for your appointment making a sale but aside from collecting a check there is not much to talk about positively. Cons They assign you a desk, you read through a script while on a dialer that constantly throws calls at you. The only relief from hundreds of calls is when you clock out for the day. When you do get a live caller that is willing to say more than hello and hang up they want you to talk about their "mobility issues" and get then talking about how much they hurt. Most of the appointments that are set are with elderly that really don't know the prices and nor can we tell them a sales person is going to arrive at their door and give them a price from 15 - 30k then further talk about how their pains are worth the cost.
It's a sad job knowing people are out there with issues but if they had a good product and correct marketing people would be calling in to set an appointment instead of telemarketing hundreds of calls a day to get a response. Oh and need you voice a concern you will be on management's radar and you will eventually get a response to belittle you and say you are there to do the job not voice a concern or suggestion. That's if they don't lay you off first and go to the next grunt to do the job. The ones that stay there working long term likely don't have skills to get away and do a different job. Oh and benefits are horrible. I would have been less offended being offered no benefit package than the crap they do offer. If you get a email to interview with this company, run away fast! Advice to Management Do more than smile. Get organized and be true leaders. Leading by fear is the worst way to manage and less likely to keep quality employees. revamp your benefits, give better paid time off.
